Prelude Black 16 Piece Dinnerware Set

These are beautiful. I ordered 3 sets to make place settings for 12. The boxes were shipped separately and the first box had 2 broken dishes and 1 broken bowl. I contacted the seller and they promptly replaced the items. No problems, no hassles. The dishes are beautiful. There is a silvery sheen to the dark end that I had not expected and it's just beautiful. I liked the idea of rectangular plates. They fit easily into the dishwasher and load up beautifully with food. But I didn't want square bowls as so many of the sets have. They are difficult to put in the dishwasher. There is just not enough room between the dish rack tines for the bowls and they just hover floating uneasily on top. I have found round bowls to be much easier to deal with. These dishes and the customer service are both outstanding.

I lusted for this setting for a long time! I actually hung a few pieces on my bedroom wall.

Bought these after having a set purchased for my first home 7 years earlier. They looked slightly different then the first set but still looks nice. They are heavier dishes but look very contemporary yet elegant. Love them!

Beautiful glossy finish, great size and shape for plates and saucers, the bowls are really large.

Salad plate cracked in microwave. Have had plates less than 5 months.
