I had one of these and various other flashlights and thought I was ready for a hurricane (I live in the Tampa, FL area). Then we had an almost 5 day power outage after Hurricane Milton. It was impossible to get batteries for anything, and I was really worried. Fortunately I had bought a set of 8 batteries for this light. I found that the batteries (2 button batteries!) for these little lights last 8 hours or more on one battery change. They are small lights, not for doing outdoor things, but great for reading in the dark and for seeing my way around the house in the dark. They also make great battery powered night lights. That one little light was a life saver. However, it's only really good for one person. I've ordered 6 more of these and lots of extra batteries. I'm telling everyone about these wonderful little lights & giving them to my friends & family. Be aware that you do need a small Phillip's head screwdriver to change the batteries.

Hands free light for night shift. Occasionally too bright for what I needed. Also used for assembling a computer, worked there too. Wish there was a way to eliminate the flashing function.

This magnetic light is extremely useful for anyone working a night shift. I'm a graveyard shift nurse and this light allows me to see where I'm going in a patient room without having to turn on the light and wake them. A much easier way to check a foley and urinals. Battery didn’t last long in first one I ordered. Got a second one. I really got a lot of use out of. But you need to have the right screwdriver to change the battery and it’s just too much to change the battery when I’m at work and I don’t carry a screwdriver in my scrubs. So yes I recommend this but you should carry a screwdriver and an extra battery with you

Strong beam of light provided in this little light. Strong magnet keeps it in place all day on my scrub top. I'm pleased with this purchase

Battery life does not last. Died within a couple weeks even though I didn’t use it that often at work. Would not recommend
