My cat has had stomach issues her whole life but recently she wasn’t eating and when she did she would vomit her food within 15 minutes. During my recent vet visit he suggested a hairball product to help her with her digestion. My cat loves this product. I give her a couple of pea size dabs three times a week. She wastes no time licking them up and she wants more. Her digestion has improved immensely and she is acting very playful even at her age of 14 years. It’s nice to see her more comfortable and playful. Great product and seems to get rid of the hairballs/issues that were plaguing her.

Though this is indicated for cats, we have a dog who recently has hacked up a hairball, and continues to make the hacking noises. He grooms himself a lot, and licks dust and hair off the floor that accumulate between vacuuming. During the initial week (during which we administered daily doses following a meal, so his throat would remain coated) of giving him this, we saw a marked improvement in the amount and severity of his hacking. We've dialed back to giving him doses every other day (for a week) and will move to every three days. Overall, he seems to be responding well, and while we haven't sifted through his poop to see if he's passed any hairballs, the reduced hacking and coughing tells us this is working pretty well. Obviously, we wish it would fully eliminate the problem, but it's likely to be an ongoing issue. So it's good to know that we can give him Laxatone when things get more difficult for him.

My Vet told me to use this for my senior mini Schnauzer to keep her intestine from having hair or food blockages. After spending over $1500 on a week long stent at the vet hospital to treat her blocked intestine this product has helped keep her from having to go back.

The product tasted good to my cat so it gets a three, but it was really too rich for a stomach and has a lot of ingredients that makes it too sweet and Is not recommended for cats who have very sensitive stomach

This is an excellent product for my cat’s hairballs. She likes the taste. I just put a 2” ribbon in a small bowl and she will eat it at her leisure. Much better than putting it on the roof of her mouth or on her paw. Product arrived in perfect condition in two days time. Price was competitive. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
