Quick and easy to use and clean.
Wow, I'm very impressed with this meat slicer. It cuts with ease. I bought it because I make stir fry often and prefer to cut up my meat frozen. By hand without this meat cutter my hands would freeze and I had to sharpen the knife a few times before I finished cutting up the meat. It took me at least 20 minutes to cut up one piece of meat.I tied it out tonight and it took me only 2 minutes to cut up the whole chunk of meat.Wow this will be a time saver for sure.I wished I knew about this years ago.I almost spend over 100 dollars for and electric meat slicer, but came across this oneAnd was sold on it because it says frozen meat cutter. It's made very well and a breeze to clean easy to use and my hubby put it together but he made it look easyTo put together. Oh the blades are very very sharp. I just picked up the blade and barely touched the sharp edge and noticed a tiny cut on My fingerSo please be careful handling the extra blade.

Everything's sharp and most things move too much.
Inadequate anchoring led to the devices sliding during use. The edges of nearly all parts are unfinished and possibly more sharp than the blade. The cut thickness was inconsistent due to the movement of the frozen meat and the blade seemed to delve into the meat, not just through it.

I purchased this tool because I like the hot pot with instant boiled mutton
I purchased this tool because I like the hot pot with instant boiled mutton. It works like the description and I don't need to work hard to slice frozen mutton by a regular knife. However, I spend some time and sever tries to figure out the right way to use it. First, the mutton need to be prepared. You need to put unfrozen mutton into the plastic bag provided in the package and frozen it. Then it has the round shape and easy to hold by left hand and can be easily sliced.I found out the blade is not that hard, after several usage, it became blunt. Each time after usage, it is not that easy to clean it.

Cuts well but black residue from hinge
We've been using this for a month and it cuts meat well.I just noticed that there is a black powdery residue coming out from the hinge. It might be part of the plastic that I couldn't peel off because it is stuck under the hinge block.

The cut thickness can be easily adjusted. I have a Waring Pro slicer which ...
Package received just in one day. The product was properly cushioned and wrapped. I am very impressed by the build quality. All the parts are stainless steel. It even includes a blade sharper. Can't wait to jump in and cut some lamb. WOW, it is really paper thin. The cut thickness can be easily adjusted. I have a Waring Pro slicer which is motor running. But I prefer this slicer for the following reasons --1. Safety, there is no way you will cut yourself with this machine. But with Waring Pro, it can happen if you don't use the plastic protector2. The blade can not be sharpened in Waring Pro, you can only replace with new one. But this one can be easily sharpened up.3. Cleaning is slightly easier with this one.The only part that I feel can be improved is the instruction manual. Mostly it is good. However, the image explaining thickness adjustment contains Chinese still. But it is not a biggie. Overall, awesome addition to my kitchen! 5-star for sure!

Works for me.
Works well, I wanted a non electric. Had to laugh at the base of mine, an obvious recycled aluminum. Cuts frozen meats for hot pot quite easily.

I bought this slicer because all the reasonably priced electric ones are garbage and the motor burns out after using them only 1 or 2 times. All the reviews raved about this on but every time I use mine, the whole arm gets bent at the joint! It's garbage too! I am so tired of wasting money on garbage!!! Seems like nothing is made well anymore! Even if you do spend lots of money on it!

Great meat slicer for hotpot lover
Kids love hotpot/shabu and I have been trying to locate a good meat slicer to DIY at home instead of going out every single time to save a few bucks. So far have tried a few of different kinds like cuisinart food slicer and Chef'sChoice models. Unfortunately those are more for HAM and turkey slices (soft meat), not strong and endurable enough for frozen meat. And the slices were so thick, not suitable for hotpot/shabu at all. Finally, I found this one. Looks like it is designed for hotpot from the pictures and descriptions. Without any reviews, I was hesitated at beginning but decided to give it a try for only 60 bucks (half price of eating in a hotpot restaurant for the whole family, two adults and two kids). Glad I did that!Ordered on Mar 30th and the package showed up in front of my door earlier today (April 2nd). In just three days and even delivering on Sunday, wow, nice job, Amazon, the seller and the carrier! The package is just a standard generic box but with this price, I wasn't expecting more. The actual slicer looks very nice and exactly like the one shown in the pictures. After assembling the loading table with the base (2 mins top), I was able to quickly start the production of my own meat slices. Can't wait for my DIY hotpot dinner tonight! What I like most about the slicer is, by simply adjusting the knobs, I can totally control the thickness of the slices. Plus, an extra blade and a knife sharpener are additional bonus. For only 60 bucks, it is no brainer.A few of picturecs are uploaded here. Unboxing, what-in-box (tape meaure not included, just for size reference) ,after assembly and how easy to adjust thickness of slices.
