Love it!
I usually use Rockabilly Blue but I've had good results with this brand in the past so I went with it this time. With this color works just like most of them do, the lighter your hair is the brighter it is but no matter what color you start with it does hold well. To get the color on the box your hair will need to be bleached white, otherwise it holds just as well but it gets duller & darker as the hair gets darker.I am predominately a level 8 but some tones are lighter some are darker because my last bleaching went bad and I do have a little gray in with natural brown roots so when I use unnatural colors it gives me an amazing variety of shade variation. I got a range of colors anywhere from bright bright blue like in the picture to a duller darker blue to a bluish overtone over my natural med. brown color that stands out like a blazing blue overcast in indoor lighting or outside. It's deeply pigmented and very comparable with Rockabilly but one big bonus, you get more because the bottle is much bigger so that earned it 5 full stars. My hair is still a work in progress and when it's finished I will be back to post results but so far it's downright amazing & I am very happy with this brand & this color so I decided to stop & order a couple more colors and get a bit more creative. It smells great and I'm happy with the product, the price, and the results. I like to put mine in then wrap it in saran wrap and set overnight & shower it out the next morning. It leave the hair super soft, smelling good and in good overall condition and doing it this way with 1 wash a week it lasts an amazingly long time. When mine arrived it was a bit runny so I suggest stirring it with something plastic before use to thicken it back up. I will update with a pic & final results when my other colors have arrived & I'm finished coloring.*If this review was Helpful to you please let me know!*

Just tried it and love it
My daughter wanted just the tip of her hair purple & after reading a bunch of reviews I decided to try this brand based on it being semi permanent, low smell, essentially one step and easy on the hair. Here are my thoughts immediately after dying:-Yes, it will stain EVERYTHING. Bleach works on hard surfaces. If you're gonna be lazy like me and not wear gloves you're gonna get dyed hands. If she'd done her entire head I'd say definitely put an oil barrier on face/neck.- Strong smells give me headaches & my daughter's sensory issues mean there's no way she could deal with the smell of 'normal' hair dye. This has only a light smell and it's not the typical horrible chemical smell.-Consistency is similar to a think hair conditioner, it's nice that it doesn't drip.- It comes in the container it's pictured in, so a brush is helpful for getting it out since you can't just squirt it on your head like bottle dyes, but scooping it out works too.-I really liked that the instructions are printed on the inside of the box so there's no need for extra paper waste.Directions state leave in for 30 mins, longer for a bolder color. My daughter has virgin hair but I wasn't sure if it was light enough to get the color she hoped for. I left the dye in for about 40 mins, put plastic over it while waiting (mostly because after 2 minutes she wanted to rinse it out and all her fidgeting would've had purple everywhere), and hit it with the blow drier just enough to warm it up before rinsing. Not sure if the last 2 steps made any difference, but she loves how it turned out. It's a little darker, but that's due to her natural color & it not being bleached first. Her hair looks amazingly healthy too.I'll definitely get this again when she wants a new color. I'll try to post an update on how well it lasts. We have highly chlorinated & hard city water, so it's pretty harsh on color, but we'll see how it goes.

AMAZING hot pink!!
I have 1 year grown out ~recession blonde~ balayage highlights and darker blonde natural roots that I am having a hard time accepting lol so I got bored and tried this and the Juicy (fuschia hot pink) color turned out so great on my hair. I've gotten tons of compliments and no one can believe I did it at home without bleaching first. I leave it on for at least 1-2 hours before rinsing. Smells amazing and does not damage hair! If you have virgin hair it will wash out a bit quicker, on my highlighted ends it definitely soaked up and lasted longer. Pics of my hair before, right after rinsing and air drying, and 2 months out from first use. I wash 1-2 times per week with a nice shampoo (Pureology hydrate) and it seems to make it last much longer. It fades nicely into a lighter softer pink over time. It may stain you counter so best to put down some newspaper. didn't stain my white shower/tub but I kept some bleach spray handy just in case, I'm sure other showers may differ. I purchased a cheap bowl and brush and some pink gloves and disposable hai plastic caps to put over while letting it process on my head.

Smells AMAZING
First and foremost, this stuff smells amazing. It says it smells like a citrus-vanilla, but to me, it smells a lot like cupcakes with more vanilla than any citrus at all. The color is great and stains/dyes well. I used it on pre-colored hair to bring some vibrancy back to my hair color, and it worked wonderfully!

Bleeds heavily even after several washes
Worked great. Covered my dark brown but turned out teal. And it gets everywhere makes everything blue. I habe used purple and red no issue. This one pretty but horrific transfer. Neck ears after three washes still staining my skin
