Can this bench be used outdoors?

I dont know. I returned mine since it's uncomfortable to sit on. I'm so used to cushioned sitting. Not sure what would define for outdoor furnitures. This bench consists of a metal frame and 2 wooden base. Doesn't look like it would sustain the rain.
