Thule Aion Spinner

Excellent carry on bag. Material is an improvement compared to the Thule traditional “slick” material…which is durable but probed to staining by other luggage. Not sure on durability, but the size specs fit most every airline and it allows for a weekend trips worth of clothing.

I live it’s wheels and how they roll. This was my most important concern and it impressed me. Very good bag.

I bought two of these. They are sturdily constructed, with streamlined edges and corners, so they don't get snagged, and they can slide easily in and out of overhead bins and car trunks. Invincible fabric and sturdy, brand-name zippers. Not too large, so you can't overpack. (Overpack your bag, tear your rotator cuff.) The wheels, so far, have proven to be sufficiently sturdy. Spinning and rolling actions are good. This system has saved me a lot of should pain. Finally, I should mention that Thule is a very well established luggage design and manufacturing company. I would expect them to stand by the product. No-name products may be much cheaper, but I am tired of throwing away no-name generic luggage after the competing suitcases failed in their wheels, fabric, zippers or handles. I finally gave up on the generic junk and bought these brand name spinner cases, with the expectation that Thule will take care of me if a component needs repair. We shall see. So far nothing has gone wrong, even after a dozen flights, and so I have been unable to test the customer support.

Great carry on; durable, looks good, smooth rolling action, proper amount of pockets. Took this thing through a dozen different airport on Europe and fit in every overhead compartment. The only thing about this bag is it will stain. I made the mistake of placing a greasy plate of kebabs on top of it and the grease leaked through and mildly stained the material, so do be careful where food is concerned. But it hasn't hardly seen any scuffing even after a month of Europe travel. This bag is great and I hope that it lasts 10+ years (for the price, it should!)

This is well made, rolls great. I'm very satisfied with it and I think it should last a long time.

It is a ugh quality carry on size luggage bag. The color however does not match the product photo, it is more green in color.

I had an indestructible carry-on from REÍ that I’ve been using for 10 years. It was still totally functional but was a little too beat up to be respectable on work trips. So, I was looking for something that would last as long, and be great for both work travel and adventures. Did a ton of research and landed on this carry on. It was more expensive than I would have liked, but I figured if it lasts as long as my previous luggage, well worth it. Just took it on a few trips and I couldn’t be happier with the durability of the material, the smoothness and toughness of the spinner wheels, and how compatible it is with the Thule backpack that I bought to go with it. Perfect size, great features to maximize what I can stuff in there, lightweight while tough, and looks super sharp. Very happy with my purchase.

This is my nth carry on in the last few years, and so far it fits all my needs, it’s small enough to fit in the overheads, rolls on very easily with the spinner, four-wheel function, but yet fits quite a surprising amount. Sturdy and resilient too. Very happy so far.

This case makes life much easier when travelling. Having the “spinner” feature is a great advantage. The adjustable handle helps when moving it around also.
