Recruited by the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.), agent April Dancer (Stefanie Powers) combats evildoers with her martial-arts skills and training in espionage. Under the guidance of U.N.C.L.E. commander Alexander Waverly (Leo G. Carroll) and assisted by her suave and sophisticated partner Mark Slate (Noel Harrison), April travels to the far corners of the globe, facing danger and death in every exotic location. This exciting 14-Episode Part Two of the spy series is a 4-disc set that will have all terrorists and tyrants fearing the sexy secret agent. Review: Girl from U.N.C.L.E. - Underrated exciting and fun show. Review: GIRL POWER - THis collection is great. It takes me back in time. The action is great. Stepanie Powers did a good job of acting. Her male counter part is good too.She would later star in Hart To Hart, also a good series. The quality of the DVD picture on the screen is excellent. My score is 4 out of 5. Not bad at all .Ithink you will like it also.

girl from u.n.c.l.e. wannabe!
yes, i wanted to be april dancer when i was a kid and first saw this show. it might be campy and some of the episodes are downright silly, but stefanie powers is still cool and a true role model for young girls. she was appealing and attractive but never trashy in u.n.c.l.e. she was also smart and could take care of herself while still showing a vulnerable side. she was never walked on but showed respect for mr. waverly and mark slade. what more does a kid need in a role model? i highly recommend that all members of the united network command for law enforcement purchase this dvd!

I suppose by today's standards it would be considered a bit corny (do they still use that word in this context?), but the quality of the performances, as well as the production standards hold up well. Viewed as a sort of "period piece", it reflects American societal views and mores of the 1960s quite accurately. The quality of the product is also beyond reproach. Video and Audio are not only superior to their original broadcasts (at least as I remember them), but also superior to many "digitally remastered" vintage television programs available on DVD today.

Great nostalgia!
The "sister" companion show to the legendary The Man From U.N.C.L.E. series may lack some of the polish and chemistry between its leads compared to Napoleon and Illya in its "Five Star" "brother" series, but it is still fun and entertaining. Starring a pre-Hart to Hart, Stephanie Powers and Rex Harrison's son, Noel, with Leo G. Carroll appearing in each episode as UNCLE boss, Mr Waverly, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. is a neat return to a time when life was a lot of fun.

Continuing on from Girl from U.N.C.L.E .- Part 1 to Part 2!
Part 2 of Girl from U.N.C.L.E. is pretty much a continuation of the same type of storyline but with April Dancer having more sexy outfits on in the second half of the season. I think the showrunners were alarmed by the drop in their ratings and wanted to splice the show up. April Dancer got a little more action in her parts, was not always so smiley and cute in these later episodes. I think they were told that the show would be canceled during these final episodes. You can see that the guest stars were less desirable at the end. Sad to watch! I think they has a big hit if they follow Diana Riggs and Anne Francis but in the mid 1960s, ladies we’re to be protected and feminine still.

Oldie but goodie
Bought this as a gift for my Mom. She watched the originals on TV and I had already given my parents The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and they were thrilled. We've even watched some episodes as a family - they are appropriate for 9 year-old kids, and they are pretty good. Not as hokey as you would anticipate for their age. Overall very enjoyable. And fun to see Stephanie Powers so young!
