I had bought a set of similar bowls but even the largest was too small for my bread making, these are seriously big bowls. The lids are also a bonus but the other significant factor is they are so lightweight. Before I used a stoneware bowl for bread which was very heavy, my other bowls stacked but they were pyrex and in all there was quite a lot of weight. These are easy to move and because they stack don't take a lot of room up. I have used the largest and next to largest for my sourdough and I am very happy with them

Unlike some of the other cheaper bowl sets these are proper deep bowls so ideal for mixing or tossing as well as serving. Without the lids they stack very compactly. They are lightweight so if you prefer a really heavy bowl then look for something else. I'm very happy to have a good selection of stainless, deep bowls for a decent price.Edit: It doesn't take long in use for the thin plastic paint to start chipping. It doesn't make any difference to the important inner surface of the bowl but it doesn't look great.
