It: A Novel Paperback – 30 July 2019

I picked this up after the movie was out and I didn’t expect to experience what I did. I won’t lie if I say that the length of this book is the most compelling thing because the story King has written will leave you wanting for more.IT tells the story of children (and adults) of a small town being haunted by a clown. This might seem like any typical horror story where there is nothing but jump scares but that’s not what this book is. The irony of this overwhelming story is that it is a book for adults even though most part of the story has children in it and if I have to put in my advice, then I would suggest the same. This story is dark and metaphorical. The writing style at first is hard to get used to because it’s simple and complicated at the same time. Starting from the first page you won’t be able to stop turning and when one scene ends, you would feel like closing your eyes and taking some time to replay it in your head. This is the first horror book I ever read (it’s not my genre) and I am so glad that I picked it up.The story is told from every characters’ POV, even the psychotic Henry Bowers, which is something that most authors fail to stick to but King doesn’t. He makes you want to enter inside his world and experience everything that the characters are going through. The most mind-blowing aspect of the book is that every scene, even the most minute one is connected to something bigger and as the journey grows along with our characters, the small twists make you grip the book tighter and not let go until you are at the last page.Horrific, capturing and bedazzling, Stephen King’s IT is that ‘IT’ book of all time!

Mesmerizing and outstanding book. Stephen king is really master really really great writing master.what a writing style and way of story telling.. He is just amazing describe each and every situation shows in front of our eyes. 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘.i never tried a huge book like this one before. But swear me it is worthy damn worthy. He is unique writer and story teller. But at the beginning I feel so frustrated when I read it after more pages turned starts to fell deep inside still can't come out. Always think is it possible to someone wrote a book like this? Stephen king is legend. I'm can't stop myself fall on his writing.IT is basically supernatural story, comes every 24 years once, sry can't sure years. Very interesting, eagering plot. My opinion at the starting I felt little bit bored. Mid of the section it's starts to fire 😍😍.afterthat u never stop reading ur minds always thinks what will happen next next.. Such a pager turner. All credits goes to legend Stephen king. He is writing king too. He had spent 5 years for this book. Obviously it's worth it.Meantime he describe frndsp love care everything so beautifully. Esp frndsp when I read about frnds gathering scene OMG no words. At the end you know I never want to finish it. Bcz I live with it and forgot real life. At the last para read my chest started to pain my stomach crunching my eyes filled with tear. Can't explain that feeling 😖😖😖 after 1month effort of that books never goes away even still now when I talk about this book my heart feel something heavy. Sry forgot to tell this one. I love the poem that Ben wrote for Bravely. OMG,Amazing.unforgettable lines. 😘😘.finally my suggestion is u must must must must read this book. I'll never regret of it. It's takes time to finish but worth it. So don't miss precious book for your life. Now I'm big fan of Stephen 👑

Don't expect too much quality on the paper

The book condition isn't good ., its bad the book is great since its written by Stephan King ... the only concern AMAZON please deliver the books or whatever the item is ... in a good condition. thats it.. PEACE

This book is perfect for readers who are adult and who want to get back to their fun times when they were kids.

Stephen King is a master of the word. He manipulates time and makes 1000 pages of pure imagination seem like a few hundred pages. It is a masterpiece, and is one of the greatest novels in the genre. This book clearly shows the convoluted and disturbing stories that Stephen King is known for. His worldbuilding is absolutely stunning and fantastic. The characters are well fleshed out and feel real and the manner in which he switches between 1958 and 1984 feels organic and seamless. One remarkable feat is that King constructed an entirely fictional town with a bloody and dynamic history and also how the town is related to It. The novel is scary and expect some sleepless nights for a few weeks. If you have an overactive imagination like mine, then you may even see the clown in dark places looking at you with malevolent eyes. King's vivid and descriptive writing adds to the terror and he makes you root for the main characters and pray for thweir safety. Never have I ever been this immersed in a novel. If you can handle the horror, then this is a book you must read.

The story is good, just like the original edition(not linear like in the movie), but this edition isn't great. The cover design is nice, but the pages are dull (greyish, not white) and has small letters. I thought this was a pirated copy. It is difficult to read without a bright light.PS: An image of the page vs its cover and THE HINDU newspaper is included. You could see the dullness and small letters.

The story was awesome and gripping but it wasn't as scary as i envisioned it to be don't get me wrong King is still one of the best story tellers out there. But it wasn't as scary as internet was raving about. The book was delivered in good but I don't think this is an original print as the cover page has the movie poster.
