Its the value product that gets it right
The first and probably last Creative product I bought on purpose was the Rio MP3 player, and that was the joint in 1999 - a whopping 128 MB to take your Noreaga and Korn singles to the school bus stop. It was good and way ahead of its time. This item isn't ahead of its time, its right on time. The Muvo 20 speaker doesn't have any reviews probably because its new but I'm here to tell you it is exactly what you're looking for. I'm sure you're comparing a Bose Soundlink or Jambox with the Muvo 20 while asking WHICH ONE? I cant comment on the former but I just sold the latter because it wasn't loud enough to hear within 20 feet outdoors. The Muvo 20 is spot on for what I need. I'm not trying to take a portable speaker with me in my bag so I can bust out impromptu listening sessions in public spaces. I'm trying to take this with me on vacation or to use in settings where its appropriate to listen to music at a pleasing level. And thats why this thing wins; Its a speaker, its loud enough (actually louder than you need most times) and the sound quality is satisfying. It won't push beautiful 20 hz bass that is felt in your chest but from 80 hz up to 14 khz it will get close. Sure, the Jambox is very cool, sexy as hell and puts out acceptable decibel for the size but it doesn't have a good listening experience. This thing does. The bluetooth works as its supposed to and it can charge your USB device too, while also being lightweight overall. The speakerphone works well, I happened to take a call while it was 4 feet away and all was heard and delivered even while projecting away from the microphone.Oh, and it costs 79$ at time of writing. What in God's name are you spending 300$ on a portable speaker for?

It was great with bluetooth, but it showed its strength as it kept it up with line in
It was great with bluetooth, but it showed its strength as it kept up the power with the line in feature. This thing, like the Oontz XL and Sony BTX300, gets LOUD for its size. With my iPhone in bluetooth mode, it sounded great, clear crisp highs and YES it does have some great bass response. It was so good I thought it would be a tossup as to which one I kept.I wanted to keep the Sony as it has the 3 stereo mode, so for music, you can either get full on midrange punch for a party, or great bass punch, or a super spatial surround sound. But the Sony lost it with line in.The Muvo is just as loud with "line in" as with bluetooth. So WATCH out those of you in the next hotel room, my travel movies on computer just got real life sound. It's big (the Oontz is smaller and the Sony is the same length but shallower) but lighter than the other two, and if bluetooth streaming music is what you need, this WILL do an indoor party, It's LOUD LOUD LOUD. And It STAYS LOUD with line in, where the others drop off volume and clarity. It's so loud, at full volume you do NOT want to sit right in front of it.You could take this outside and the neighbors could hear it over their TV.When it came down to it, I wanted to keep the Oontz due to its size, but this thing so far overpowered it, I had to let the Oontz weakness for 'line in' send it packing.

Badass speaker!!!
This speaker blows away any expectations I had, especially considering the price. As with any speaker system, it's only going to be as good as your cheapest component. Meaning, a lot matters on what you're playing the music through (your MP3 player/phone), and how good the quality of the recording that you're playing is. That being said, this unit has excellent highs, mids, and lows for its size. Yes, size matters with speakers. Of course the bigger the speaker, the louder it's going to be. But for it's portable size (it has 2 powerful 3" speakers), ease of use and features, this sucker sounds great! I'm looking forward to finally having something decent to play music through on my next camping trip!!!

Despite the good sound, poor build quality
When i wanted to buy an external Bluetooth speaker the name creative came to my mind; as i own a couple of creative pc speakers, one of them is over 10 years old now and still rock solid and has amazing sound quality. Unfortunately i assumed that this speaker will be of the same build quality, currently i dont live in the US, so i mailed to a friend and asked when he visits to bring it over with him. Well short story is that the power button broke after only 4 days of minimal use, it fell off inside the speaker body. Well i was going to give this speaker a rating of one star the only reason im giving it a 2 star rating is because it actually has some nice sound quality.

High quality speaker for the cost
I purchased this product almost three years ago and have been pleased with its performance. The Creative Muvo would be perfect for anyone who would like to listen to music either indoors or outdoors without using headphones or using the devices speakers. When looking for wireless speakers it is important to consider size, battery life, connectivity, and sound quality. This product has may features including:• Rechargeable battery (charged by Micro USB)• USB out to charge other devices• Bluetooth or Auxiliary connection• Simple button push to find reaming charge~~Size and Battery Life~~The speaker is a little over one foot in length and four inches in width and height and light weight. The rechargeable battery does drain quickly when the speaker is at full volume; however, full volume on the speaker is rarely needed. With 50% volume or less the battery can last up to 8 hours on a single charge.~Connection and sound Quality~The loudness of the speaker seems to more quiet when using the auxiliary cable than using Bluetooth, but using Bluetooth connection is simple and allows the device playing music to stay with the user. The Bluetooth connection is also very strong allowing you to walk up to twenty feet away and still have a strong connection.Overall, the speaker is well designed, and will last multiple years and charges. The Muvo allows for easy and high quality sound almost anywhere you go.
