how big are these compared to regular chapsticks? they seem significantly smaller/skinnier

Hi - yes, they’re smaller than the standard chapstick. Maybe about 1/2 the size in width.

why in this day and age do you still use crushed beetle (carmine) instead of things like beets berries for color?

First, what I choose is just that, MY choice. If you have an issue with the ingredients then take it up with BURTS BEES. Second, for someone who is so schooled in the ingredients of a product I choose to use, then why is your use of punctuation and capital letters lacking. Please keep your opinion to yourself. I do not know you nor did I ask for it.

Do all colors contain carmine, derived from insects?
