If it works even a bit to improve the satellite signal when we have to deploy over 100' of coax I'll be thrilled. we'll test it this summer in the mountains that are tree covered.

Made no difference at all.
I purchased this to help boost our satellite reception, but it made no difference at all. We are working in a national park for the summer and I am having to use 50 ft of cable in order to be clear of the trees. The signal is intermittent at times and I thought by adding a booster it would help stabilize the signal, but it didn't help boost the signal.
