It’s a great size, small and easy to carry. The light is brilliant and bright. The adjustable brightness is nice to with the two settings. And also the flashing mode. It’s really a perfect flashlight.

The name is correct…super bright!

I purchased this to keep in my flight bag. Reliability is obviously very important for a pilot, especially in night operations. This was the second one of these I've purchased, the first from a source outside of Amazon. This unit was intermittently faulty from the beginning. Unscrewing the end cap and back on seemed to help the batteries connect and the light would work as advertised, which by the way was very bright and nice. Shortly thereafter however, no light operation at all. Rinse and repeat. The intermittent failure gradually grew to a 70%-30%, failure to operation mode respectively. Since it was an occasional use tool it's outside of Amazon's replacement window so now it's a paperweight. Because it's another item I've purchased on Amazon that seems to fail in similar ways, I will not purchase again.

EDIT : (after having it for about a year now) : This thing started 'working' whenever it wanted to after only a few weeks. As in I thought it was the batteries b/c it wouldn't turn ON at ALL half the time , but that wasn't it. Maybe I got unlucky but I just bought a 3x cheaper ,different LED flashlight that is waaaay better. Take your chances I guess but based on my experience alone , I wouldn't be surprised this has happened to more ppl than just me. Skip it (IMO). Get something cheaper & better. Just b/c it's a known brand , don't guarantee it will work better than some unknown brands.Wish I had warned ppl way earlier.

I bought two of these and felt that they are great flashlights for the price. After about six weeks of very little use they both became unreliable. Sometimes they worked, other times they did not. Took the batteries out and put the same back in. Sometimes that helped. The original batteries that were packed with them seemed to rattle a bit when I shook the light. On closer inspection, the original Energizer "Max" batteries that came with them looked different than ones I bought separately. They also had some corrosive leakage even though they still have six years to go before their expiration date.. Tossed them and put in new batteries and they are working fine (for now). The new batteries don't rattle. One reviewer inserted a metal flat washer between the battery contact and the battery to improve the contact tension and make up for what may be a weak spring.Since Energizer sells good batteries I can't imagine why they would package inferior batteries with their product. It would be better to not include batteries at all.Hopefully these flashlights will prove reliable in the long run.

It Works Great

As good as advertised! I have another Energizer, and this is also really good with powerful lighting. Very satisfied.

I've used it twice for a couple minutes at a time. The 2nd time I go to use it the light flickers and goes out. After shaking it a few times and taking the back off and putting it back on it works. Now it's functioning similar to a movie flashlight where I have to shake it a few times to keep it working. BRAND NEW FLASHLIGHT WHAT THE HECK. You really can't purchase anything on amazon these days unless you know for a fact it's not junk.
