Helped baby's stomach
We started using these at the recommendation of our GI doctor, as our baby had some GI issues. The first few weeks we noticed an INCREASE in gas however, told this is normal and that the baby would adjust. After a few weeks his stomach seemed to get used to these and his stomach and gassy issues improved. I think this also helped keep him 'regular' in our transition from EBF to formula. My only complaint is cost. 5 drops per day makes this little, relatively expensive vial go pretty quickly!

Over a different brand of drops, these helped my DD tremendously!
My review is actually for the Gerber Soothe Colic Drops (minus the Vitamin D). I purchased those drops at a different retailer; however, I wanted to leave feedback for the drops here at Amazon. My DD since at about 1 month of age had gas/bloating/constipation issues. She is primarily formula-fed with organic, sensitive formula and has been since about two weeks of age. She does receive some breastmilk, but her primary diet is formula. The formula I use does not contain probiotics; but does contain prebiotics. When I told my pediatrician about our issues, she provided me with a sample size of the Gerber Soothe Probiotic Drops. (no Vitamin D.) The sample only lasted about five days. I saw improvement, but nothing amazing. I wanted to continue with the probiotics, but because I felt there was no significant improvement; I switched and bought Culturelle Baby drops. We used those until they ran out. Meh is my response about Culturelle Baby drops. After I ran out of the Culturelle Baby drops, I noticed that my DD was back to being gassy/fussy/constipated and just miserable. Instead of buying more of the Culturelle Baby drops, I bought the Gerber Soothe Probiotic Drops, hoping there would be more of an improvement. After a few days, I noticed that my DD's constipation seemed to be getting slightly better and she had fewer episodes of burping when feeding. After about a week to 10 days, there was marked improvement in her fussiness, gassiness, and bowel habits. I am still on the original bottle (says it is about 50 doses) and probably about a month into using the Gerber Soothe drops and for the past 10 -14 days, my baby has been super happy, chill, not really fussy during the "witching hour," she has more of a bowel routine now, zero bloat, burping is far less in quantity. She still has a lot of hiccuping throughout the day. These drops have been a huge help to making my DD feel better every day and allow her to be a happy baby without added (some is normal) GI discomfort. Now, I have read complaints about the dispensing process and about the paper inside the bottle. Here are my observations/tips:1. Keep the bottle stored upright. If it tips over, stand it back upright as soon as you notice it has tipped over. One morning, I noticed that I could not get any drops out and was bummed. I just tapped the side of the bottle, hoping to release any bubbles that might be preventing the liquid from falling back into the bottle and after 10 minutes or so, the liquid that was trapped in the dispensing area had fallen back into the bottle and I was able to dispense the drops with no further issues. I now make sure I keep the bottle upright at all times.2. I do not shake the bottle, instead, I swirl it - to avoid the liquid getting stuck in the dispenser.3. The strip of paper inside the bottle is supposed to be there, per the manufacturer.4. Read and follow the dispensing instructions. Tilt the bottle at about 45 degrees and the drops form and then drop, one at a time. I have never had any issue with the liquid dispensing too quickly.I hope my comments help you to make a decision. I have found with my DD (my first baby), there is a lot of trial and error, when it comes to feeding and gut health.Oy! I do know that these drops have made a significant improvement for my DD and that they in fact, work better than the other competitor that I mentioned above.

Good product but not a miracle.
I am not going to say this is a miracle product but I feel better knowing I am supporting my babies gut health and her gasiness seems to be less painful for her. My baby is not colicky but was having trouble passing gas. Through recommendation by other moms I added this probiotic. After a week I could tell her gas was passing easier and so this saved her crying time and helps her sleep more since she can pass her gas better. I definitely recommend them, but just don't want to set an expectation of it being some miracle product that cures whatever ails your baby, which I tend to see alot with baby products. Also my baby was c section and is formula fed, so I felt a good probiotic was more important.

Hallelujah!
I never leave reviews but wanted to considering that this might help some suffering parent somewhere make the decision to buy. I started using this a few days ago and it's like night and day in our house. My fussy, inconsolable 8-week old is now smiling and happy and we can actually hold and snuggle her without her squirming and screaming in our arms as if in pain. Thinking she had acid reflux, our doctor had prescribed Pepcid and we also tried gripe water and gas drops. I eliminated things from my diet like dairy and citrus. We were rocking and bouncing her for hours to no avail. Still our sweet baby seemed so uncomfortable and unhappy, crying for hours and hours each day. In desperation, I decided to order this product after reading the positive reviews. Of course I flinched at the price but like I said, I was desperate. Jump forward to today and it's like a different baby. If you're on the fence go ahead and give this a shot. If it works for your LO, could be the best decision you made and you won't regret for a minute spending the 25 bucks once you see him/her smiling at you and able to sleep restfully...which means you can rest too! Sounds like a winner to me.
