Hurts formed in 2009 and is comprised of singer Theo Hutchcraft and synthesist Adam Anderson. Their first two albums, Happiness and Exile, both reached the Top Ten in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, and Finland.
