Post opp from a hysterectomy, this is a fantastic item. I feel stable, it fits well, comfortable, breathable and secure. I'm 5'6 170lbs and purchased the large, for reference.

I did not like the girdle, it wrinkles all over and apart from that they sent me a size larger than the one I had requested. And they didn't respond to my claim either. I do not recommend it.

I just had a hysterectomy and my doctor said that wraps help. They gave me one in the hospital but I wanted to get another one so I could have one while I washed one. I ordered 2 others but this one was by far the best one. I LOVE that it has a top and bottom closure, not just one big one. I can just undue the bottom one when I sit down and still have support and not have it pushing in on my lower abdomen. I also love the 2nd set of supports. They gave me even more back and pelvic floor support. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the velcro attachments seem a little weak. I have only had this for 2 weeks and haven't had a problem but not sure how long it will last. That being said, I have ordered another one because this has given me the best support and helped my healing process.

I ordered a LARGE, I give it a 4.4 stars. It's a great value for the price. For reference, I'm 5'3", was 183 lbs when I went into labor, went down to 167 lbs by the time I started using it on my 4th day postpartum. It fit well then, I'm now 2 weeks postpartum, 156 lbs. still fits well and most importantly it does its job. Its a cotton fabric material so I can wear it under my clothes and it doesn't chaffe, I typically leave it on for 5-7 hrs a day, under my nursing tank. It's visible from under the tank, but not too terribly obvious, but I've only worn it when I'm home so this is doesn't bother me. I'm breastfeeding so there's lots of hunching down going on even with boppy pillow and back support. I've noticed that it supports my back as well. I hurt more when I take it off to breastfeed, but loosen it a bit for more comfort, it is a girdle after all. This is my third child, and seems to be my fastest recovery so far, my stomach is in fact going down faster than with my first two with whom I didn't use a girdle, so it seems to be doing its job :) I don't think this would work for taller women though, it's just the right length for me from under my chest to just above the hips, but I'm short. All in all, if you are more on the average/petite side, I would recommend.

I am currently 2months post partum and originally bought the 3 piece belt. That one did help but was annoying if I had to sit/go to the bathroom because I had to take it off each time. This one works great since it's a one piece and sitting isn't super comfortable but it's also not very uncomfortable so I think I just need to keep at it. I plan on sleeping with it on and it felt comfortable when I tried it the first time. I wouldn't expect a corset-style support but it helps me SO much with my posture especially because of my pp belly plus my new breastfeeding boobs - yeah I've always been an A/B cup so my back is very confused with the new weight in the front! The belt also helps when I go for walks - definitely a must for recovery help and general functionality.
