Cute neat technology!!
This is cute and small. I like to put pictures of my cats on it.

Niche, expensive, but quite cool
The display only "has" two colors (black and red) plus "no color" (white). But man, with good dithering, can those 3 colors go far. I am sometimes able to get very good results displaying a real photo of a person. The app looks like put together over the weekend by a hackathon team. Nothing is intuitive and everything is clunky. Moreover, if NFC itself can be finicky, this thing is guaranteed finicky x10. However, with patience... it works as promised. If you have trouble with sending the image to the display, I suggest removing the phone's case and trying to locate where _exactly_ is its NFC transmitter.

Really Nifty
This is a great little demo of 3 color e-ink technology. Sometimes it's a little tricky to get it to write and it takes some physical adjustment with my phone, but it still works with my phone case on. If it fails to write half way through, it looks broken, like a cleared etch-a-sketch, but it still functions properly and can be reprogrammed. My only complaint is that I wish it was cheaper so that I could afford to use several as baggage tags.

Cool but not so durable
Cool little gadget. I bought two, one is frozen after about 6 months - only changes pictures a few times

Cute and fun!
**Ignore the badly cut screen protector I put on the device - it's not a device flaw!**So cute and fun! I love it. Let me help you love it too by sharing some 'how to' info.I use this with an older Samsung phone. It did not come with any keyring or chains, so be sure to have a small ring to loop through it!- If you use an iPhone, you download the app from the app store, it's called "NFC E-Tag" there. If you use an android phone, you download the app as an installable apk file from the instructions page mentioned below. (Why they don't have the app on Google play, I don't know. I installed on an old phone so I don't have to worry.)- Find instructions and the app by looking up "1.54inch NFC-Powered e-Paper (BB) wiki"(IGNORE it saying 'not compatible with android Samsung Google phones', that's not true! I'm using a Samsung with it, I think the text was just written or translated wrong).- The instructions page shows plenty, but the app is easy to use even without. Make sure to click "1.54 inch paper B" and you'll be ready to set up your image. When done selecting and tweaking your image, simply place the tag against your phone wherever the nfc chip hides. You'll find the spot easily as the app makes a noise.Would do perfect as a gift if you can provide that info! It should really come explained in the box.... But it doesn't.

Fun, looks pretty good, a little glitchy
Got this for my wife to have on her keychain. She's not the type of person who would ever remember to charge something like this...or replace the battery in something like this. So it's great that it doesn't have one.Even though the display is only black, white & red...it's able to almost trick your eyes into thinking that it's more than that. Not that it looks like a regular color screen, it's just surprising that with those three colors it can display as well as it does, albeit fairly pixelated. The app is a little janky and when you try to update the picture on the device, it sometimes seems like it only gets partway through the process. So you sometimes have to update it more than once to get it fully there.Overall it's a fun little thing. Wife likes it. Every couple weeks I'll grab her keys and put a new picture on it, which she thinks is kind of fun.
