cuts like butter. Perfect hole in porcelain/ steel sink.
Cuts like butter! Well, more like warm cream cheese. Drilled water spigot hole in porcelain/steel sink.Pilot bit is not carbide. First drilled a pilot hole with solid carbide 1/4". Pilot bit/hole holds cutter in place. Happy Happy Happy.

Great for sink faucet hole in stainless steel
This was perfect for cutting a hole in my stainless steel bar sink - cut like butter. Great design as well and has stop as to not fall into the hole cut - this kept a nice clean cut in the metal.

High quality, cuts quickly. It leaves the hole smooth and clean.
I was wary of the pricing, but this is a really good hole saw. I had to cut a precision hole in an aluminum marine dashboard & this worked perfectly and the edges were smooth and clean. The tool cuts fast. It's sharp, and it works well.

16 gauge sheet steel not like cutting butter.
It was a job cutting a hole in 16 gauge sheet steel but I managed.

Bit walks and enlarges diameter
16mm and or 5/8" bit used to cut hitch reciver holes for 5/8" pins. Terrible cut, bit walks all over the place. The inner bit will start to side cut the pilot while the larger cutting teeth are pushing and pulling. Not only is the cut oblong but it moved from center point.

Best bit ever
Very sharp. Best metal but I have ever used.

Works as expected. Recommend
Be aware that the bit will 'grab' more - especially with metal vs: wood - than the same size, regular Bi-metal bit with more numerous teeth.

It’s OK
When it came in, it’s nicely packaged has a nice little carrying box and assembles pretty easily, but the one problem is that the drillbit sucks. It snaps right away, but the hole saw itself is actually really good. All I had to do was take one of my Mac tools drillbits. and put it in the hole saw and try to tighten it down without stretching the threads on the lock screw and continue the cut, but the only problem with that is because it doesn’t have the flat spot on the drillbit like the hole saw but had you have to keep tightening it down but on the plus side you can get at least 2 to 3 full cuts with using a Snap on or Mac tools or high-quality drillbit and guess what if it breaks lifetime warranty on Mac tools drillbits, so breaking one isn’t that big of a problem I am giving this tool a three star because the drillbit snapped right away but the saw portion is actually decent quality. I don’t know how long it will actually last but drilling through a bumper. It worked really well if it was just the saw I would give this a five star and it’s packaged decently, so if you’re looking for a cheap decent hole saw this would definitely be one of my first picks but if you’re looking for something more long-term, I would definitely look into a better company with higher quality tools, but for a couple time use and possibly maybe only being used once a year or a couple times a year then this is definitely the product for you, but if you’re using it daily weekly or monthly definitely buy from someone else and I would recommend tools because of the warranty Snap on doesn’t really have the warranty backing their drillbits or heavily worn tools Mac tools is just a better option all around and if you don’t have a MacTools dealer and I would recommend googling for better options for you and what you do for a living or hobby’s Buy for side projects this isn’t that bad
