nice durable compass
It’s fairly accurate it’s off by a couple of degrees but at it’s size and price it’s pretty good slightly too big for my watch but all in all I’d recommend this compass if your looking for something small and easy to read if you need something to be precise I’d recommend a bigger and more expensive compass,

Always going in the right direction.
I don't go in for flashy things. I do rugged and practical. That basically describes this small compass. Slips onto my canvas watch band and stays put! No sliding around, just stays where I want it to be. It's absolutely pinpoint accurate. Confirmed by both my primary compass and GPS. It's dead perfect. If one wants basic and accurate directional information at the end of their arm, here it is. I assure you that this small compass will not disappoint you.

Good Compass
I bought two of these compasses and would have rated them both 5 stars because they are both accurate for general directions and both fit snugly on my wrist watch band. The problem started when one of the compasses fell out of the rubber base. The adhesive failed. Fortunately I found the compass wrapped up in a leaf in the parking lot. So, OK, I went to Home Depot and bought a flexible adhesive formulated for vinyl, fabric and plastic by loctite. Most of the old adhesive was still adhered to the bottom of the compass so I pulled it off. Apparently the bottom of the compass was very thin, and I tore a pin prick sized hole in the base. A small amount of fluid came out. Since I was able to remove 90% of the old adhesive before the hole developed, I decided go ahead with the repair. I put a generous amount of glue in the rubber base, pushed the compass into the base and held them together with a small C clamp for several hours. The repaired compass still works, but the dial doesn't turn as easily as it did before some of the fluid came out. I just tested the second compass by gently prying with a of couple of dental tools. The compass stayed firmly attached to the base. None of the other reviewers reported an adhesive failure, so I am forced to give one compass a 5 star rating and the other two star rating. Hence, the four star rating. These sun compasses are very helpful in a large casino, like you might find in Las Vegas. At least you can keep track of the general direction of the entrance, elevators, parking garage, favorite restaurant or the cashiers cage (for your wife).

It's in the trash now
Due to so many good reviews I bought it and have used it while hiking numerous times along with a Suunto full size map compass. The first couple of outings I noticed you have to tap tap tap the thing to point and when you think it's pointing the right direction if you tap it again it'll just keep spinning. Because I knew which way was north from the sun I kind of knew when it was right so didn't give it much thought although I was already skeptical. Today it was raining and completely overcast so when I kept tapping it it seemed to settle in one direction. I pull out my map compass and low and behold it's pointing the completely wrong direction! If you already know which way is north this compass will work for you. If you do not it's a crap shoot whether it decides to point north or not so is completely unreliable. Do not risk your life on this toy. If you throw a stick in the air it's more likely to land facing north than this thing.

Texan Approved!!
My wife used this on here non-smart watch to know the direction. It is good value and glows in the dark enough.

Dust enters and ruins the good.
The size/form-factor, appearance, materials used and accuracy are very good. However, the capsule is not dustproof or waterproof. Mine has filled up with dust and has become dark amd murky. It is almost unreadable during the day and absolutely unreadable at night. The dust settles down after I hang my watch up. But once I put it on and start moving, it stirs up the dust again. People complaining about accuracy need to reasess their observations and ensure there are no ferrous materials about and that they create a level plane, which definitely would affect acccuracy. I compared it to Cammenga and Suunto lensatic compasses amd north was the same on all of them; good for quick reference for a bearing. I would buy another if it were dustproof.

Nice looking and functional Compass securely slides onto your watch band to let you know the direction you are going. Purchased several and gave some away as gifts.

Works as advertised
It’s a small compass that fits on a watch strap and points North. I ordered it, it arrived, I put it on a watch and it works!

I'd just received this slip on compass, so can't properly report on any long term durability or reliability. What I can share is that, out of the box, the compass is functional and relatively accurate. Currently clear with no bubbles. It will slip on easily and perfectly onto a majority of 22mm NATO/G10 styled straps. Any smaller and there may be a bit of play. With a bit of effort, I can squeeze this compass onto a couple of my 24mm Zulu styled straps as well. It is a closed system, so slip on versus clip on to straps. Lume is okay. Hope this info helps.

Great until it isn’t. Does not like the cold. Lasted one season. Bubble formed at -20C and just got bigger when it warmed up. Never cleared.

到着翌日には装着して使用しました 大きさも丁度良いと思いますし、バンド装着の方位磁石として優秀だと思います。(低山ですが!) 特に泡もなし! 満足です
