This product is worth the money. How many times have you got up to use the toilet and take a shot in the dark only to be advised by your wife you did't exactly hit the bulleye? This little light solves the problem and eliminates any future discussions as the issue has been resolved. We have been using the toilet light for over a year and it works great! Still on the first set of batteries. It's motion sensor is very sensitive and you can't sneak up on it. Also, it's light sensitive so it doesnt't come on if the room is already bright. I just bought another set for a friend when I found out his wife demands he sit on the toilet to pee at night to avoid the dreaded puddle that always seems to be found by the other's foot. Latest update: humiliation and resentment resolved now that they've seen the light.

Visited a brother and his wife who had the lights. She had recently broken a hip and this light gives her confidence when getting up in the night. Ordered a set (they come in sets of two) for a sister who lives alone. They work great for her. So, we ordered a set for our home. We set them to a dark purple/blue. Gives just enough life at night to help you get around, yet not hurt your eyes and wake you up. They change into a prism of colors. We like the darker color. And it's fun to hear guest reactions when they realize there's a motion-activated light. Did not answer the question about battery life because we haven't had them that long.

We originally received this product as a gift and were suprised to find we like the lights a lot. They provide gentle illumination after dark whenever you approach the bathroom. It's pretty cool that you can tailor the color to suit your preferences, although the method by which one changes the colors is a bit awkward. (You have to press and hold a button while the light cycles through all the colors of the rainbow, then release the button when the color you want appears.) Battery life is fine, but product life hasn't been so good: both of our lights failed within 9 months. We liked the product enough that we purchased replacements, but if these replacements also fail prematurely, it will probably be the end of the line for toilet lights.

So, I bought this for my twins 14th birthday (one of their gifts) lol. I thought it would make a good alternative to turning on the light in the middle of the night when making their way to the bathroom. I installed the second one in the down stairs guest bathroom and this is what I can say after using it for 2 days: The luminosity is great! It doesn't stay on constantly, which has its own pros and cons. Pro:battery saving, doesn't disturb light sensitive sleepers. Cons: cannot really work as a night light and you must be a certain distance for it to detect motion. So, wandering through the dark from the upper bunk is still going to require a night light. THe one I have downstaits is tucked away opposite the laundry room, so I only have so much distance I can verify. I am well outside the bathroom a few feet away, plus the toilet is cfew feet from the doors. So, I can attest that I can detect motion up to about 5-6 feet. It may be more though. The "clip" is sturdy rubber coated (good for cleaning) and it is easy to bend to perfectly the toilet bowl. Do not make the same mistake I did and make sure it is clear from the 2 toilet seat rests before close the lid. It will glow through the cracks if you are a lid closer (I always close the lid before flushing). However, after I got this I lift the lid before leaving the bathroom because the cool effect of the bowl glowing. In a small guest bathroom it can luminate enough to avoid turning on the light to do your business and wash your hands. However, I have noticed that the device does go back into sleep mode whenever I turn the overhead light back on. I Cannot say how long the batteries last, since I only put some in yesterday, but I would assume a long time since it does work on motion detection. It requires 3 triple A batteries. They were a little snug to snap in. Bend the "handle" or "clip" out of the way before inserting. The only thing I wish a device like this would include is a fitting waterproof cover for cleaning purposes. Over-all this is a great buy, very inexpensive, easy to use, and motion detection=do not have to handle it often to change the batteries. It also comes with 2 per package. GET ONE!!!!!

Purchased these just over a year ago for Dad who gets up at least twice a night and usually couldn't get back to sleep and would end up on the couch and eventually falling asleep there. Told him it was not surprising that he got woken up so much by the bright bathroom or hall light at 2am. Found these and hoped they would help. Did they magically solve his sleep issues...no. Did they drastically improve the number of times he wasn't able to get back to sleep....Absolutely!!!! He has had sleep issues for a very long time that had continued to worsen over the years, so no toilet light is going to fix that. But they have helped considerably and his sleep continued to improve the longer he used it for. We only used one since the upstairs bathroom is the only one used in the middle of the night. Set the 2nd one aside in the cabinet for backup. Put 3 AAA Energized batteries in and it worked perfectly this entire year, without having to replace the batteries once. Just stopped working and replaced the batteries but the sensor wasn't really working and light was flickering a bit when it did come on. Figured it had passed its prime and replaced it with the 2nd one from the pack with the new Energized batteries we use. Not disappointed at all it lasted a year. And assume we will get another year out of the 2nd one. Definitely can't complain over $10 for 2 units to last 2 yrs. The sleep they have helped regain in even this 1 yr is worth way more than $10. Highly recommend to anyone that wakes up in the night to minimize the level of "awake" they become. Will definitely repurchase when unit 2 is eventually laid to rest. Well worth the $

Bought the two pack for our bathroom and the kids' bathroom. It's so nice not to have to turn on the lights in the middle of the night and be blinded. The kids like it too. Very easy install and works as described. Really like how it only turns on when it's dark and it detects motion so it doesn't waste batteries. Recommend!

Fácil de instalar, buen sensor de movimiento, funciona muy bien en las noches cuando los niños van al baño no estar a oscuras, lo único las pilas pero con unas recargables para no batallar.

Wir sind megazufrieden mit den LED Lampen.Beide funktionieren tadellos. Ist eine nette Überraschung wenn Besuch kommt und den Toilettendeckel öffnet. Außerdem leuchtet es schön hell beim Toilette putzen.Das zweite Licht haben wir etwas zweckentfremdet. Es liegt bei uns oben über dem Bett. Falls nachts mal einer raus muss reicht ein kurzes Winken, das Licht geht an. Man steckt es in den Hosenbund, hat somit die Hände frei und findet sicher den Weg zum Bad, ohne den Partner durch das helle Licht der Taschenlampe zu wecken. Es gibt noch mehr praktische Einsatzgebiete.Wir haben noch weitere bestellt.
