Very Comfortable on my large noggin'.
I have a BIG head (8, 25", 63.5 cm) and have always had a problem finding a hat that fits correctly, much less a bike helmet. Imagine my surprise when I received this Giro Bishop (adjustable from 58 - 65 cm) and found that the sizing is correct. And with the dial adjuster in the back of the helmet, I could dial in a perfect fit!The helmet itself is very comfortable and fits well on my head. Some people have commented that the straps are too short. I let the straps out as far as they would go and they fit comfortably under my chin. They also have V-shaped plastic strap adjusters that go just under the ears to help with the fit.The helmet has good airflow, which is mandatory in south Texas in the summer. Since everyone should wear a helmet on every ride, you need a comfortable, well fitting one. This helmet checks all the boxes on air flow, comfort, and safety. All in all, a great helmet at a great price.Happy cycling.

Gives me some extra room
The rotary dial clamp at the back works well to tighten up the band for a snug fit. The UXL size leaves about 15 clicks of expansion for my 24" head. When it is fully open, I can easily get a couple of fingers into the band. There are 55 clicks of adjustment overall. I can normally fit the helmets that advertise that they fit up to 61 cm or 24 inches, but I often have to open them to their limit, and sometimes they are still a bit tight. This size gives me some room to open it up more, and so will accommodate a skull cap or bandana underneath it. The visor snaps on with four pins, giving it a firm mount. The holes that it snaps into have plastic bushings so that they will not wear as quickly if you install and remove the visor often. The main color is a nearly white grey, so it shows up fairly well. There is a small (0.25"x2.7") retro-reflective sticker on the back that adds some night visibility. My helmet weighs 315 grams (11 oz) with the visor, 300 grams without it.

Huge Heads Look No Further
I have a huge head.... We're talking "Orange on a toothpick" big. I read the reviews and was a bit sceptical cause no bike shop in my area had a helmet that would fit me. I was quickly running out of options. I was almost to the point of buying a XXXL motorcycle helmet, when I stumbled onto this helmet on Amazon. When the helmet arrived, I crossed my fingers, and tried this bad boy on. It fit, with room to spare! This is the first helmet I've found that doesn't look like it was made for my young daughter when I put it on. For anyone, like me, who can't buy a hat or helmet at any retail store, this is the helmet for you.

BIG HEAD FIT WITH CAVEATS
I had been looking for a commuter helmet that would fit my 7 5/8 head and not look like I was wearing a giant tortoises shell. This lid is a fine mixture of safety and style for large headed people. I use an XL Specialized Echelon 2 ($100) when riding distance or speed but wanted a cheaper around-town helmet for comfort and a little better protection when dodging morning (texting / coffee drinking) commuters on their way to work. This is a reasonably sized lid for that purpose. I only see two issues that may effect the value of this helmet to those of us with big noggens. First, the straps included with this helmet are surprisingly short. I have loosened them as far as they will go and the strap clips just barely fits under my chin. I think they will work out but the clip, over time, might start popping off from the end of the strap. Curious that a helmet marketed for larger heads would have shorter straps than most "normal" sized helmets. Secondly, the helmet's interior crest is none too tall for a large head. I fit it fine since my head is more round than tall, but if one's bean is cone-shaped at all this lid will not fit you ... or certainly not be comfortable. Other than those two issues (the former being pretty significant to the helmet's effectiveness) this is a very functional and inexpensive alternative to other higher prices helmets. Enjoy!

Fit perfect right out of the box with a micro adjustment ...
Unbelievable helmet! Fit perfect right out of the box with a micro adjustment on the internal headband. Adjustable band allows for a large difference in head circumference. I have a pretty big melon (7-7/8" on my military cover) and this fit perfectly. If you're head is bigger than mine, there is enough adjustment for several larger sizes.

Good looking and seemingly well made but seems to run a bit small.
I have quite a large sized head and was hoping that this helmet would cover me as it is the only one providing me with a 1.5cm of play between my size and the helmet's size but no dice. It runs a bit small and as a result does not sit well over the head. Seems well built with all the bells and whistles. Nice looking helmet but in my case it did not work.

Nice Helmet for Big Noggins
Replaced an older Giro Atlas model (12-13 yrs old) that totally saved my knucklehead when I smacked it on the pavement after a preventable spill. I wear up to 7-3/4" hat size and my head fits comfortably within the shell. Straps needed only minimal adjustment out of the box - which my cat loved afterwards. I added after-market pads which I transferred from the older helmet to augment what it came with; no biggie.

Too Small...
I was lulled into believing that this helmet would fit me by all the reviews stating it fit the recipients "big" or "large" head. Those terms are quite meaningless aren't they? Why not quantify your response? I wear a 7 3/4 hat. My head circumference is 24". This helmet is too small for my head so I am returning it.
