Great story, well written, easy for 2nd grader to read on own. Parent doesn’t mind reading it either

The book cover was cut (or torn from crease) and creased from bottom to top. I am keeping it as it is too much trouble to send back . Was going to be a gift but now will just hand the child the book.As for the book story-I am sure it is a good book as the child I bought it for has #1 in the series and loves it.JUST NOTICED-WAS CHARGED $6.99 AND BACK OF BOOK CLEARLY IS MARKED 5.99 ON BARCODE-

This is my 6 year old daughters favorite book series currently. She reads this book to me every night!

My daughter is a 1st grader and unicorns/sparkle princess/girly books are really attractive to her so we end up buying a lot of them. This series is particularly painful to read. When did it become a crime to use complete sentences? My 3rd grade son enjoys correcting the syntax and criticizing the plot as she reads it so it is obviously a family favorite. If you are looking for well written series likely to attract the same kids look at The Kingdom of Wrenly, Dory Fantasmagory, or My Happy Life.
