Works wonders
Works wonders, be sure to follow directions, 8 ounces per 1,000 square feet, spread at 1 ounce per gallon on a hose end sprayer. The first time I used it I measured and flagged 1,000 sq/ft areas, the 2nd time I used it I had a good idea on when to move on to a new area. I did go over each 1,000 sq/ft area several times before 8 ounces had been used. The pictures are after 7 weeks and 2 applications. It is filling in new grass growth on some troubled areas I had in my lawn from some fungus damage. I have also been mulching the lawn since I first applied Madina lawn food. I have 15,500 square feet of lawn and one gallon is plenty for the size of my lawn, second year more pictures, looking great

Too early to tell?
I used this product for the very first time this morning, thus it’s far too early determine how it will measure up as the Philadelphia area has recently been inundated with rain. The container was simple enough to use and seems to be better made than its competitors. I’ll gladly review again in several weeks.

Works great when used properly
Decided to try this instead of the usual Scotts. I think the directions are aimed at automatic sprayers as used on crops rather than hand-held hose sprayers. Using my adjustable ratio hand held sprayer I tended to apply just as I would weed-b-gone but when I was done I had used almost none of the HastaGro. So I set the ratio to a higher percentage and did it again. It used more but still not what I would judge would be adequate. After about four trials (over several weeks) I finally hit on a ratio that definitely works. And works it does - greener, more robust lawn. Very happy with results. I ended up re-applying at about one month intervals.I think the secret is finding the right ratio combined with your application technique. I can see if you put too much on where it might burn a lawn. I tend to just coat the grass as in weed application rather than soak the lawn. I could see results in a couple of weeks (or no results the first couple of applications!). This is definitely a product that needs to be pre-mixed with water in the correct ratio to work properly so be cautious.

This product did nothing for my lawn....PERIOD!
I bought this product in the spring (May). I was trying to revitalize my lawn after letting my yard go by not fertilizing for a year. Weeds and crabgrass were starting to take over. Anyway, I discovered this product on the Medina website. I was eager and excited about using it. So I discovered it being sold on Amazon website and started to read the reviews (only 2 at that time). One of the reviews gave it one star (P. Burnside) saying that the product was "worthless". However, knowing that many a people swear that Medina makes great products (ex.: Hasta Gro), I dismissed that review.Upon receiving the product, it came well packed and I was expecting some great results. However, after applying (May 15) and waiting about a week, I was concerned because I hadn't seen any noticeable results yet in color or growth. And considering it was a liquid fertilizer I felt it more ample enough time to have seen some progress. So it is now fall and I was actually going to try the Medina product again thinking that maybe I had let the lawn go for too long and that it was going to take more than one application before I would notice any real results. However, I had procrastinated ordering the product and I wanted to immediately put down an application. So I went to Walmart and instead of buying a liquid fertilizer I decided to go with Scott's Winterguard granules. I applied the fertilizer (September 26) and within a week I started noticing that the grass was growing and looked as if it was standing at attention. Within 10 days the grass actually looked "fuller and greener" and my neighbor even asked me "did you fertilize?".What I am saying is that the great results the Scott's Winterguard yielded inspired me to leave this post about just how little (if any) results the Medina Hasta Gro Lawn Fertilizer produced. There was absolutely no color change and it did not accelerate the growth. I was highly disappointed with the product and I would discourage anyone from buying and using it. I agree with the aforementioned review that this product is worthless, at least it was for me. I said it did nothing for my lawn, well, it actually made it worse since it did nothing. I won't be buying Medina again.

Poor quality container / sprayer.
Can't speak to the product quality yet, but the bottle leaked about half the contents.

Brings the dead back to life.
Storm URI shut down Texas for about five days. I had over 8 inches of snow in my yard. Trees broke branches fell and I lost a ton of trees and plants. The back of my house is under a cliff ranging from 5-14 feet high. When I built the house I planted fig vine to cover the limestone rock of the cliff rising behind the house. After 10 years I had a beautiful thick and lush wall of vines that really set off the back yard. The storm killed it ALL. I spent days cutting down the dead vines. I waited weeks to see if there was an life before I cut it down. Alas I got nada. Watering did nothing but expose the base layer of dead vine under what I had cut. After two weeks and two sprayings I got green everywhere. It seemed to me like it popped all of a sudden and not a gradual come back. I think it will take a year or two to get back to what it had been but the Hasta Gro saved it.

Careful Shipping Please
I purchased Hastagro previously and it was delivered by Amazon on my porch. This order was sent by USPS and stuffed into my small mailbox. Therefore, the squeeze made the liquid leak all over the package and some loss of the fertilizer. It’s a great fertilizer so I will continue to use it.
