Life P3i

I LOVE these! I've had AirPods Pros for the last 2 years and Apple had to replace them twice due to a crackling in the sound and they started doing the same thing again and they wouldn't replace anymore so I went looking for another option. No way was I paying $250 for something that doesn't even last 8 months. I tried a couple lower cost options and they were just no good in functionality or sound quality. I thought I was destined to pay big bucks until I found these! They are literally 95% of what the Apple version is and I won't go back to AirPods again. Likes: The sound quality is amazing, at least as good as the apple version. They connect instantly all the time, I like them better than the apple airpods because these don't get confused and try to switch to my computer when I get close. I hated that about the airpods because I never wanted them connected to my computer but you can't make the Mac forget the airpods without your phone also forgetting them. Charging case lasts a long time. The volume can go really low. Sometimes I listen to an audiobook if I'm having trouble falling asleep, with the airpods I would always try to turn down just one more click and they would go silent. I always thought there was too big of a step from the lowest volume to off. This is not an issue with the soundcore pods, they have great low volume control. Dislikes: The noise cancellation is not as good as Apple. It is decent but Apple definitely wins there. I don't like that I can't tell how much battery is left on the case, even in the app it won't tell you so you just have to plug in when you think your getting close to empty. They don't get as loud as the airpods, I think it is still good enough but if it is noisy out I have wanted an extra one or two clicks more volume a couple times. After two months using these for at least 4 hours a day, I am still thrilled with their performance. This is one of the best products I've found this year.

I have no experience with higher end buds but I have used some Tozo buds for a while… The sound quality, noise cancelling and app support is far superior to Tozo. I have a hard time justifying the high cost of earbuds which will inevitably stop holding a charge, become outdated or possibly get lost. I got these buds under $50 and they sound great! The noise cancelling works when I’m on a work call in a cubicle farm area. The app allows for customizable EQ and has several pre-sets already. I wish the case was slightly smaller but then again it fits in my pocket fine. Additionally the buds battery life is 9-10 hours plus then you can quick charge in the case. Overall the value is excellent for these buds. Update: 10/20/2024 I use these buds almost daily still. I use them for work calls and also while waiting in parking lots to pick up my kids from their various activities. Frequently I use just the right ear bud and it works great however you can’t customize the sound with the single bud. Recently I have noticed some issues connecting to my phone. Sometimes I need to try repeatedly to establish a connection. It usually works eventually, not sure why that’s happening. It’s a minor inconvenience but still annoying and frustrating. Other than that, I still love them and even bought a pair for my son.

Bought these thru the Black Friday sale for $34 as potential replacements for my Gen2 Airpod Pros (which were a gift) in case I lost them. As a musician and audiophile, I can understand the need for top notch listening gear. However, I cringe at the thought of paying an exorbitant amount of money for tiny earpieces that can easily be lost or broken. Enter the P3. These babies, for all my needs, meet my expectations, and are just close enough to almost match the level of my Airpods at a fraction of the cost! Paired with the manufacturers Soundcore app and androids Wavelet app, I can EQ the HELL out of these, and for my needs, it's almost on par with my Airpods! Killer bass, rich mids, and clean highs make me not notice any major definable difference in sound. Battery life is exceptional. I get about 8-9 hours of listening time (with ANC/transparency off) before recharging with the case. The case itself is slightly wider and thicker than the pod case (see pic) which doesn't affect me. The earbuds themselves don't fall out as my pods USED to do but that was user error; I switched both pairs to small gels and now neither of them fall out. Reasn why I gave 4 stars: The ANC/transparency options. While they do work, they are definitely NOT on the same level as the Airpods. ANC does cut out most of the noise but transparency is garbage. You can test out these options via the app and hear the dfference WITHOUT music playing but you won't be able to tell the difference with music. However, this isn't a deal breaker for me. I love everything else about these, and for a fraction of the cost of the Airpods, these are absolutely a steal!

I had the latest model of ear buds from a certain company named after a fruit that I spend $250 on. Unfortunately they got stolen and I bought these until I could save up enough to buy better quality earbuds again. Looks like I won't need to upgrade! Pros: The sound quality is insane! I have no idea how it sounds so good at this price point. Not quite as good as the top of the line but way better than mid to upper-mid range buds. Transparency mode is incredible! No drop in sound quality, no extra noise added, the pass through audio isn't too tinny. I have no clue how Anker could figure this out in an earbuf under $100 while others couldn't get that right for $250. Button customization! You can change what the buttons do in the app! And there's 3 different button commands per ear! Comfy! I don't even feel them in my ear, it's crazy how nice they feel, idk if it's just my ear shape but usually earbuds hurt my ears after a couple of hours Bluetooth is working amazingly. No connecting while it's in the case which was a huge problem with my last earbuds Cons: ANC is weaker than competitors, but not bad. It will definitely help on an airplane or around constant sources of noise, but someone talking around you is going to be just as audible as in normal mode. That said, the passive noise cancelation is pretty good so I don't even feel like I'll need the ANC except in certain scenarios. Button placement. To press the button you have to push it into your ear which is a little uncomfortable. I wish they had put the button on the side of the stems. Luckily they don't require much pressure so it's not a huge deal, and it's better than having to tap on them like some ear buds. Case is pretty cheap, I don't feel like it would hold up well if dropped. Meh: Battery life is almost as advertised on normal mode. Charges relatively quickly. No complaints. Call quality is a little echoey. Still clear and nobody has complained about it on calls. Overall, great pair of earbuds! They're a 4.5/5 star earbuds, but given the price, I can easily round up to a 5/5. Really hoping they don't crap out on me too soon because I'll be using them forever if they last.

So, last year I went through a bunch of so-called top of the line Bluetooth earbuds for low prices. after months of disappointment, and breaking my promise to not spend over 100 bucks, I took a risk with the Soundcore liberty twos. I was impressed with the sound quality and was even more excited when I learned about the Soundcore app to which you can make enhancements. Last month, I miss placed one of my earbuds and was heartbroken. I listen to music, read scripture or whatever on my way to work, sitting in the back of an Uber or Lyft. I also take the bus home. It’s hard to concentrate with one earbud when your driver is blasting the radio or someone sitting on the bus behind you is talking to the top of their lungs. I went on Amazon to get the exact same pairs. I unintentionally ordered the Life P3i Hybrids. I paid over $130 for the sound core liberty two pros, and just over $63 for the Life P3i Hybrids. I opened these and paired them with my iPhone and was immediately blown away by the sound quality of the Life P3i Hybrids. In my humble opinion, they are miles better than the sound core liberty pros. The highs and lows are even and this is without turning on the app features. I love the upgrades in the app. The app definitely makes an already awesome pair of earbuds that much better. The additions are outstanding. I’m intrigued with the white noise and nature sounds. I did notice That with transparent mode that I couldn’t hear my house phone ring and the volume was not even halfway up. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. I can’t wait to try out the noise canceling feature next time I get in an Uber. I ride to work at 5 o’clock in the morning and love my peace and tranquility with just instrumental worship music while I’m reading or praying. It’s the calm before the blistering storm of the 6 o’clock morning rush food service. Also, I am right now using voice text and notice how much better my words are transcribing with my Life P3i Hybrids then with my liberty pro twos. I have to stick my pro 2s Back in the case in order to be able to send a text message with my voice. But with my hybrids, although it’s not completely perfect, it’s transcribes so much better. Finally, I love the fit of these in my ear. They are very comfortable and I have not had to push them back into my ear once. With my other ear phones, I had to worry about them dropping out all the time. I haven’t tested the battery life as of yet, but the other reviews I’ve read say it’s great so very excited about that. In the near future, I will be purchasing some more of soundcore products but these will do just fine for now.

Battery life in regular use: 11.8 hr, 13.8 hr 12.5 hr 12 hr 13.1 hr After much research over which anker earbuds I wanted to replace my Anker Life Dot 2 — which lasted 19 months, quite impressive because the poor fit had them bouncing on concrete with unhealthy frequency. Anker is low cost and actually stands by their warranty — replacements are easy to get, sometimes not even requiring shipping the defective product back. I sleected the Anker Life P3i Hybrid because it fit my requirement for ultra long battery (case doesn’t count), <$50 cost, and a good fit. I ended up picking these because they had mechanical push-buttons and 4 mics unlike the P20i, P2 mini, or A3i My Life Dot 2 had a terrible fit. The Life P3i had a great fit out of the box. Both sides are locked in and hard to dislodge while talking or running. The silicone ear tips offer minimal passive silencing went the sound is off for a conversation. No idea on the ANC — I keep that off for battery and situation awareness. The fit is reasonably comfortable for 12 hour straight wearing session. Battery life — ANC off and mostly on playing audiobooks or music baring a few conversations and 0 time in charge case. 9:18 AM to 9:07Pm got the 10% low battery warning or 11.8 hr. Other days had similar longevity (13.8 hr 12.5 hr 12 hr 13.1 hr). Even with the slow battery attrition from recharging ~10 hr is reasonable prediction across an expected several year life span. Water resistance is IPX5 so maybe I shouldn’t wear them while washing my face or showering — but I do and haven’t had any issues. The case is smaller than the Life Dot 2, a lot easier to fit in a pocket. The usb-C plugs in the bottom. I think the lid has to be closed for the earbuds to disconnect from a phone & charge. The fit is decent for size weight. They haven’t fallen out, but I do occasionally feel compelled to play with the right one. No annoying flashing light for night listening on the earbuds, just a simple light on the case that quickly shuts off for charging and needs to be charged. The soundcore app is not a dealbreaker for me. I normally listen to audiobooks, podcasts or shitty mp3s from the 2000s so sound quality isn’t something I’m going to pick out. I do like that it lets me check that the ANC hasn’t turned on and to remap the clicks to a standard menu. I do wish I could set triple clicks or pressing both at the same time. Physical buttons are excellent, hopefully they have the longevity to last. I will probably find a way to cover up or mattify the shiny part of the stem. I like my earbuds to recede into the background not be noticeable accessories. No regrets to picking these from Ankers lineup and I will continue to be a loyal as long as they keep the warranty service.

I mostly listen to podcasts, and maybe a little music, and only seldom do I use them for calls. That said, the phone calls have been fine, no complaints on either side. I can't say for sure how well the noise cancellation works, my house is pretty quiet, and when I'm out walking the dogs or going to the grocery store, I still can hear enough outside noise (which is a good thing) so I can hear a car coming up or if someone is trying to get my attention. I can say the outside noises seem more muted than other headphones/earbuds I use, but I haven't tried them side by side. For sound quality, it comes through clear. I'm not really an audiophile, and I'm old and probably have lost high end range anyway to give a fair assessment. They aren't tinny or and having bass overwhelm everything that you can't hear the lyrics or podcasts talking. And they are very clear, both talking and music. And that is good enough for me. It only took about a day to get used to the controls. They are simple enough, but are one, two or three presses on one or the other earbuds. Nicer than others where it is often a combination of long and short presses. And, it is good at detecting the difference between one and two presses (unlike the ones that do short/long press). My only real quibble, and mostly because I listen to podcasts primarily, is that it is one press to raise the volume and two to pause. Given the bluetooth range, I've got the phone on my when using these, and use the phone buttons to control the volume, and wish it were one press to pause for when people start to talk to me. I don't know if is the weighting (they are barely noticable wearing them) or shape or my ears or what, but I've tried all the sizes of silicone buds, and they don't stay in all that great. It is fine when I'm working at my desk, or riding in a car, they don't randomly fall out. But, they do fall out way more often than I'd like. I might be chewing food - that is enough to have one fall out. Doing anything more active than walking the dogs one or the other is likely to fall out. I do sports photography and walking the sidelines is o.k., but if I stop and talk to someone, good chance one falls out. Maybe it is just my ears. The real annoyance is that you can't turn them off. The battery life is great. But you have to have the charging case with you and put them in and close the lid for it to "turn off" and disconnect from the phone. Maybe not a huge deal, but if you take them off and put them on the side table for a second and then your kid comes in and wants to watch a game on TV with you and next thing you know it is 4 hours later and they are discharged, it is an annoyance. Related to that, doing that doesn't even help, or requires a lot more attention. Just popping them in the case doesn't always start them charging. Even being careful and making sure they are seated just so, a lot of time doesn't start it charging. I'd guess my success rate is about 50%. So, you have them "charging" overnight and then wake up to dead earbuds. Now, I put them in the case, and they should disconnect from the phone, so I check the phone to make sure they are disconnected. But even then, moving the case can cause it to lose contact for charging. Or if your pet knocks it over. Or even if everything looks good when going to bed, sometimes it just stops charging for no reason. Luckily, they charge quickly, when you do manage to get it right.

I have had this for 6 months of constant use and they have thus far been pretty solid. I got the "oat white" and it looks cleaner than black after use. The color is great as I don't have to worry about dead skin and other gross ear stuff being readily visible. The gold trim makes them look premium while wearing. The sound is fine, not better than AirPods, not worse. The noise reduction is okay. I took them on a trans-Pacific flight recently and it does drown out some of the jet engine noise but does not quite work on the voices in the cabin. If I have to nit pick the design, which is similar to AirPods with the stalk sticking out, is nice for install and removal but the stalks hit against my neck pillow on the plane and kept popping out. Okay when I was awake not good when I was asleep having to root around a dark, economy class seat in a full plane, hoping it didn't roll onto the floor. Compared to Apple AirPods at three times the cost, these are excellent alternatives. The couple nitpicks I have is 1) They can only be paired with one music source at a time. You have to push the button at the bottom of the case to repair to another. Not a big deal but kind of a pain, hence the 4 versus 5 stars 2) They don't have is the ability to find them like using your phone which the AirPods do have. However, at the given cost, one cannot complain. If you're looking for a solid set of earbuds and don't want to spend for Apple AirPods, these are a more than viable alternative. Don't hesitate to get them as your primary or as a set of backups, they are an excellent value at great quality and Anker's excellent customer care.

Well build, good for calling, sound quality average, excellent battery life. Good value for money.

Very good quality and excellent product Long lasting charge and good sound quality. Worth for money

I don't often take time to write reviews and I'll keep this one short and sweet: These were my first transition from over the ear wired earbuds, having come from a decade of wired earbuds that offered unbelievable sound quality compared to "wireless" - and previously coming from a decade of hi-fi audio with headphones that cost anywhere from $500 - $2000 and high end home audio equipment. So the transition was slow, and I never believed I would find wireless earbuds that could comapre in any way. Well boy was I wrong. These things are just so good on all the levels one would want from earbuds. 1st - They fit perfect, they never fall out of my ear. I barely ever if ever need to push them in any deeper to get the fit back. They go in, they sit in, and they stay there. They are so comfortable and effortless to wear sometimes I put them in and they just stay in my ears while I don't even play music or do anything. Kind of like comfortable ready to go earplugs that mask outside noise without any "noise cancellation frequencies" or annoyingness at all. 2nd - Sound quality! I bought (and then returned) multiple other top competitors. Skullcandy, JBL, Sennheiser and now currently Beats Pro+ or whatever. All of these were $100 - $400. Most around the $230 mark. Each time I got these, I'd switch back and forth between them and the P3i and EACH AND EVERY TIME I found myself saying: these $200+ ones are only MINIMALLY better in some ways audally than the P3is. And those times were all not justifiable over both the cost and the fit. The fit on the P3i's wins over all of them. The sound qualirty is SO CLOSE to that of the $200+ ones it's crazy, and in many cases it was actually the same or BETTER. 3rd - Call quality - The call quality on these is top notch. The microphone perfect. I've never ONCE had an issue where someone said there was too much background noise or I sounded weird or they couldn't hear me. I have had calls in public on the street, at the beach and in busy areas in malls, etc - and every time: perfect 4th - Battery life. Battery life? I haven't had these run out ever. I charge them at night, and often times I'll be out all day listening to music, riding my bike, walking, whatever - and use them for like 8-10 hours. NO ISSUES. All in all, these are my favorite earbuds I've ever tried. And for a measly $69.99 CAD? HAH! Anker has a absolutely stellar winning product here. I scrolled through other people's reviews to find their "cons" and laughed at a lot of them. There are simply no cons with these. The bass may be a tap bit "boomy" in some cases instead of a little more deep and refined like it is on the beats pro+ but when you couple that with the price, the fit, the battery and how well these win in all areas all around I am even considering to return the beats pro+. Any sane person of means with a busy life would want to have 2 sets of earbuds. Just in the case of loosing one, or leaving them in the car or somewhere else at a friends house or whatever. So I may well keep the beats as my 2nd set. But honestly, I'd just consider returning them and buying a SECOND set of the P3i's. They are THAT good. If you are reading my review in the sea of reviews on these, just stop - and BUY THESE. Thanks Anker, you made me spend 10 minutes of my life writing this review in admiration of what an incredible product you've accomplished making. I am looking forward to an upgraded model if they come out with one, and would happily pay a higher price tag if that ever happens. Over the moon with these :)

Bought these on sale and very happy with the purchase. Sound quality is excellent for this price point set of head phones and they hold their charge as stated. Would definitely
