Taurine free- yes please!
These are great! For years I was a sugar free redbull girly....until I found out redbull and many other big energy drinks contain Taurine which can increase and drive blood cancer growth. My nurse brain did not like that. I've been trying different Taurine free energy drinks over the past couple of months and these are great. 160 mg caffeine, 5 calories and taste great!

Awesome flavor, great energy, zero crash.
First off, I am sensitive to most energy drinks these days (i.e., monster, rockstar, bang, reign, etc.), and most of those have given me bad anxiety or panic attacks likely due to the ingredients and high level of caffeine (300mg). I was hesitant to want to try ZOA as i assumed it would be like any other energy drink I’ve had.My findings:Caffeine: it’s perfectly tolerable for me. The green tea coffee and green tea extract total out with “natural caffeine” at 160mg. The caffeine in here appears to be naturally sourced which metabolizes differently then normal lab (synthetic) produced high content caffeine like other major brands (which usually causes jitters, shakes, anxiety etc.) The synthetic caffeine also tends to give you a faster caffeine rush vs the more natural caffeine which is why you experience a crash.I’ve found it to be a perfect mid-day pick-me-up, a perfect pre workout or even a good post workout to get you back on your feet after being tired. Best of all, i don’t experience a “crash” like I do on many other energy drinks. I don’t get the shakes, “rush” or crazy side effects I’ve felt with other energy drinks. This seems to be just the perfect amount of ingredients to be tolerable and also doesn’t include the things like ginseng, taurine and other junk. Zoa has the good balance of vitamins, the camu camu and turmeric extract.Sugar: if you want to keep it simple then get the sugar version with normal sugar and it will keep you fuller, but then yes there is the sugar aspect to it. I prefer to stick to the artificial sweeteners and I’m personally okay with sucrolose but yes ace-k has been linked to its issues (cancer, Brian function, etc.). Personally if you are drinking energy drinks in the first place you can’t expect to have every ingredient be healthy anyway - i don’t think that’s reasonable with any energy drink. But the taste from the regular sugar and artificial sweeteners are great. I have nothing bad to say about them. It’s not stevia or monk fruit but at the end of the day they are all just sweetners.Flavors: I’d rank them in this order: Pineapple Coconut, Tropical Punch, Orange, White Peach, Super Berry. I don’t care for original or lemon lime. But the first five… absolutely love them (I’m sure my picture of my fridge speaks for itself lol). Flavors are delicious and taste just as they are described. Some don’t like the flavor likely due to the sweetners, but they taste even better with regular sugar version.Overall, ZOA is awesome IMO. Definitely recommend trying it if you’ve been hesitant.

White peach has a decent taste, terrible smell, but the berry one is great
*** Update ***Received a shipment of the Super Berry today and it does not have the odd smell as the White Peach. Its flavor is fantastic. Not as refreshing as the White Peach, but it is pleasant. I have raise my 3 star review to 4 stars. Some may not mind the odd smell of the White Peach, but as for me, I'll stick with the other flavors.*** Original ***I’m a huge fan of energy drinks of all types. Probably have tried more brands than most people. Even some made in other countries when on vaca.. so when this went on lightning sale, I said what the heck..let’s try it.The flavor of the drink is fairly refreshing and has a decent overall taste. The biggest issue I discovered with this drink is the smell. Most energy drinks have a unique smell. Some better than others; unfortunately this one is not fantastic. Actually it’s fairly bad. So awful that it takes away from the taste of the drink. It’s too bad the smell is so unpleasant. I really do like the taste. Can’t say I’d buy more unfortunately.

Favorite caffeinated drink
After trying multiple caffeinated drinks we have settled on two favorite brands. One is the Good & Gather offerings from Target and the other is the ZOA brand flavors. ZOA was offered earlier this year at our Costco, but they have discontinued ZOA. Although ZOA website states it is available at Publix and CVS we have not found it at those locations. As most energy/vitamin infused drinks the pricing is steep compared to colas, etc., however ordering from Amazon has provided the best pricing and, for us, next day delivery. ZOA's caffeine content is well more than a cup of coffee which is what my wife is looking for in the morning. Several flavors to choose from. Our favorite is White Peach.Note that the cases come in two sizes, 12 oz and 16 oz cans. This time the best deal was on the 16 oz cans so we ordered those.

Energy drink.
While the price is decent, the flavor is not very good. I will have to try others, but this one is not for me.
