The Where's Waldo? Deluxe Edition brought back so many great childhood memories! The illustrations are just as detailed and fun as I remember, and now I get to enjoy it all over again with my kids. It’s a great way to keep them entertained and engaged without screens. High-quality book with classic pages and a few extras—perfect for all ages. Love having this on the shelf!

Classic fun that never gets old
My son absolutely loves this book. I remember searching for Waldo when I was a kid, and it’s been so much fun watching him get just as hooked. The deluxe edition is great because the pages are packed with even more details, and the artwork is as colorful and chaotic as I remember. What I didn’t expect was how competitive it would get. We started off casually searching together, but now it’s a full-on race to see who can find Waldo first. Spoiler: he usually wins. The other day, he even challenged his grandparents, and let’s just say they were not prepared for his speed. If you’re looking for something that’s screen-free and still keeps kids engaged for ages, this is a fantastic choice. Plus, it’s surprisingly fun for adults too—until you lose to a literal child for the tenth time in a row.

fun for the whole family
I can’t believe I missed out on Waldo growing up! It seems like everyone else had this book as a kid except me. But now, it was recommended for my son as part of his ADHD support plan—specifically to help with his slower processing speed. They use this book as a brain-training tool to improve information processing, even in overwhelming situations.Honestly, I think it’s great for anyone, not just kids. I opened a page and immediately felt a little overwhelmed trying to find Waldo among all the lookalikes. That’s when it clicked—this is how the brain training works. By developing patience and learning to focus on activities like this, you’re essentially retraining your brain. Aha! It all makes sense now. We’ve already decided to buy the whole series because it’s quickly become a family favorite!

Where's Waldo? The Ultimate Search Adventure!
"Where's Waldo?" It's seriously a blast! So, here's the scoop: you've got these super busy pictures, right? And in each one, there's this guy named Waldo hiding somewhere. But here's the catch – he's always wearing this red and white striped shirt and glasses, so he kinda blends in with the crowd. But that's what makes it so fun! You have to really search and pay attention to every little detail to find him. And when you finally spot Waldo, it's like winning a mini treasure hunt! The best part? Each page is packed with so much cool stuff – there are people, animals, buildings, you name it. It's like a whole little world to explore. And here's the thing: "Where's Waldo?" isn't just for kids. Grown-ups can totally get in on the fun too! It's like a game that everyone can enjoy. So, if you're up for a fun challenge and hours of entertainment, definitely check out "Where's Waldo?" Trust me, it's worth it!we also loved this as a family activity. My boys love when i sit with them to search for Waldo

So much fun
So much fun highly recommended it for all ages the only thing that would make it better is if it had an answer key with it. Some of the other hidden challenges are not clear and you need an answer key to verify if your correct. This is a great exercise to keep your mind sharp

A great gift just add a magnifying glass!
This review if for Where's Waldo? Deluxe Edition. There are a number of Where's Waldo books, and this one is the easiest in my opinion. I found Waldo on all the pages in less than 15 min, but it takes a bit longer when you add in all the other things to find that are listed on each page's flap, as well as, the other Waldo characters. Now I am 30 years old and had already found Waldo on all the pages as a child. so I probably had some subconscious memories as to where Waldo was and thus found him much faster than most people would. Each scene also has plenty to see and a lot to laugh about. So while you are searching for items, Waldo, and Waldo characters... you might just stop and look at things and laugh. As a child, this book really was fascinating and as an adult it will be so fun to re-find everything with my son.My only complaints are that Waldo loses items he carries in each scene, which means his overall appearance changes as you progress through the pages and thus you may not realize you already found him (I thought he was an additional character instead.) Also, the folded over flaps make the pages a bit wavy in the middle, but I like having the checklist of items to find so conveniently located. Lastly, the dust jacket is a poster, but you really want to keep it on the book... so the free poster is really more of gimmick.Overall, I think this book and a magnifying glass would be a great gift for boys or girls, but especially boys.

More fun as an adult
I remember “playing” Where’s Waldo in elementary school. It was frustrating and fun and parents liked it because it kept the kids quiet. But I think I enjoyed it more now because I can read and I did not realize how much more there was to find. As a kid, I relied on other kids to help me and then it would be a race to find things before the page was flipped or it was time to move on to a new activity.I also got a Where’s Spock parody book but that was NOT fun. I like that in the Waldo series, you are given an image so you know what to look for. I like the extra challenges in the back and front and it isn’t as frustrating as the Spock book. Also I like the old style cartoon with funny stories. The other book had random drawings that were poorly done. Even though this book is probably 30 years older it’s 30 times better.I actually got this to help a teen with focusing, practicing patience, and maybe hopefully develop a method that can be applied in the real world for finding things.
