I ended up buying two. My dog's neck is 22" and I originally bought the Large, but found that even if it was adjusted as small as it could possibly go, he could still slip out of it. Because the collar is so cheap, and because I really liked it, I just went and bought a medium and it's the perfect size for him. I do like this collar, a lot. The red looks pretty smart and makes it easy to hook up the leash, even in the dark. I especially wanted one with a buckle, so I didn't have to force the collar over his head and adjust it each and every time I put it on. My pup is 70lbs, no problems at all holding him when he sees a rabbit, he can't slip out of it either, no matter how much he tries.

Patches is a Bull Terrier Mix and almost 2 years old, very strong and energetic. At first I use to purchase the snap-together collars, but he'd always break-away from them and go chasing critters, after him breaking 3 of the snap collars, I purchased several different other type collars ( to no avail). Prior to his 1 year birthday I purchased the black PETBABA Reflective Padded Dog Collar in medium and have encountered no mishap. As a backup for when the current collar expires from regular usage, I've purchased the collar in red. The purchase price that I paid is well worth the cost, have purchased more expensive collars that do not stand up as well as this one. Patches has an 17.5 neck and comfortable wears the medium collar in the next to last hook with growing room galore

My dog's neck is 21" and I got her the large size collar and it was right on. Once I received the collar, I measured the length with a tape ruler and the shortest length the collar can go is 20.5", and it can extend to 26". The collar works really well for my dog and I can pull back the collar and not to worry about it slips off my dog's neck. The black and red loops look super good on my dog. Love the reflective stripes and buckle features too. This collar is perfect and I hope it will last for many years!

I’m a dog rescuer Nd have been for over a decade. I have purchased an untold number of dog collars, and was really very surprised at the very high quality of these dog collars. The price is such a great deal. I didn’t expect such great collars for this price. Better than any collar you can buy at your high-end organic dog food store or pet smart. We have six dogs of our own and purchased two of these for tow dogs that were missing their clasp-type collars due to wrestling.

I absolutely LOVE this collar! Bought the 17-22” and it fits perfectly on my 65lbs Australian Shepherd. The reflective strips are a big bonus for me since we do quite a bit of night activities. I’d definitely recommend this collar.Updating my review:Still the BEST collar I’ve purchased almost a year later, September 2019. Everything is still as good as new and the stitching is as strong as ever!!Update April 2021:Still going strong! It finally has some clear signs of use. By far the best collar I’ve purchased. I haven’t had to get another since 2018.

Purchased the 17-22 for a growing anatolian shepherd with an 18" neck. It fits her very nicely and still has plenty of room, and I like it well enough that I will get her the larger size if she outgrows it. The padding is nice and thick and the buckle is strong. My only complaint is that there does appear to be some rust forming on the buckle, but that's a minor issue (and probably inevitable considering how she likes to go rampaging through puddles). All in all, I am extremely happy with this collar, especially for the price.

I like the red color, the soft padding on the inner side, and the width. It could really use a “keeper” so that the excess length doesn’t flap. I ordered one from another online source but it was too small. My dog used to wear a snap closure collar but he was troubled by the loud sound when i put it in him every morning. This one is the old fashioned buckle collar and he likes it!
