Requested
My vegan son requested this as part of a gift, that's all I can comment on, but knowing my son it must be a good buy.

It tastes good
My wife has had recent blood tests and her vitamin D levels were low. She was prescribed a strong supplement and was directed to continue to take vitamin D for the next 6 months, so I ordered this for her.Whilst it tastes good, I am not convinced anyone needs 500% of the recommended intake, unless you have vitamin D deficiency. It seems expensive, as it will only last 2 months. Saying that, her most recent blood tests have shown her vitamin D levels back into the normal range.

Very sweet, tastes like vanilla custard.
According to the NHS website, from about late March/early April to the end of September, the majority of people in the UK should be able to make all the vitamin D they need from the sunlight on their exposed skin. Children from the age of 1 year onwards and adults need 10 micrograms of vitamin D a day. This includes pregnant and breastfeeding women, and people at risk of vitamin D deficiency. Babies up to the age of 1 year need 8.5 to 10 micrograms of vitamin D a day. A microgram is 1,000 times smaller than a milligram (mg).Just in case you find some difficulty in understanding the print on the label, the word microgram is sometimes written with the Greek symbol μ followed by the letter g (μg). Sometimes the amount of vitamin D is expressed as International Units (IU). 1 microgram of vitamin D is equal to 40 IU. So 10 micrograms of vitamin D is equal to 400 IU. Hope this is helpful.During the autumn and winter, you need to get vitamin D from your diet because the sun is not strong enough for the body to make sufficient vitamin D. But since it's difficult for people to get enough vitamin D from their food alone, everyone (including pregnant and breastfeeding women) should consider taking a daily supplement containing 10 micrograms of vitamin D during the autumn and winter. I tend to take vitamin D supplements throughout the winter months and sometimes for a short period of time maybe during the spring or autumn. I usually take vitamin D in tablet form, but the nutrients in liquid vitamins tends to be more bio-available. I found the liquid form much easier to take. Vitamin K2 works in conjunction with vitamin D to support healthy bones. K2 helps make sure calcium is deposited where is needs to be and not inappropriately elsewhere such as the arteries. This liquid form of vitamin D and K2 comes in a dark glass bottle to protect it from degradation due to light. The dose is 1ml per day and the pipette has amounts clearly marked on it. It is very easy to use, delivering the correct amount easily. The flavour is cherry and vanilla, it is very sweet tasting and reminds me of vanilla custard!! It is vegan and gluten free, which is always important to me. It should be kept in the fridge once opened and, in fact, I think it tastes better chilled. This bottle should last around two months, so I think it is very good value for money.

A tasty D3 and K2 liquid, that is simple to take.
A tasty D3 and K2 liquid, that is simple to take.I was pleased to try this 'LVD1 - Liposomal Vegan Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 - Cherry & Vanilla Flavour 60ml - lipolife'. I take a D3 and K2 supplement daily because I do not get the requisite amount of sunshine. Having the K2 in with the D3 helps with absorption, apparently. This supplement comes in a liquid form, with a handy dropper for measuring out 1ml dose per day. The 60ml bottle is made of opaque black glass and has a plastic dropper type lid, that twists off. There is a peel off plastic seal over the top of the lid that you remove at first. Each 1ml dose gives you 25ug of D3, 500% NRV and 45ug K2, 60% NRV. It is a little tricky to draw up exactly the 1ml, although there are gradients printed on the dropper to get the correct amount.Being a liquid it is definitely a handy way to take this supplement and it is also very palatable. An especially easy way if you have difficulty taking tablets. The flavour is a lot like custard, with a nice creamy vanilla taste. On the bottle it suggests that it tastes best chilled, that you should refrigerate after opening and to use within 3 months of opening. It is made by a company in the UK, is gluten free and vegan suitable. The current price of £16.99 is fine, in my opinion, for 60 days supply of this tasty D3 and K2 liquid, that is simple to take.

Nicely packaged and easy to use
I was curious to try this since I’ve heard that liquid supplements are more readily absorbed by the body than pills, and whilst I can’t say one way or the other if it’s true, after a month of taking it, I'm still alive, and I've found it very easy to use. It’s worth noting that, being a liquid, it’s recommended to keep the bottle in the fridge while using it. A single dose is 1ml of liquid, so a 60ml bottle contains 60 days supply. I think the flavour is meant more to mask any unpleasant taste rather than to be genuinely nice, but it tastes a little like weak cream soda when you dilute it in water, which isn’t too bad.The best thing of all is the pipette which has a measure on the side to allow you to accurately measure doses. Previously with liquid supplements, I’ve had to stand there counting drops into a glass which I always felt was imprecise and fairly tedious, but this is extremely easy.
