A Gentle, No-Scent Witch Hazel That Just Works
This Amazon Basics witch hazel astringent is unscented, gentle, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It feels refreshing on the skin without burning, and it helps clean and tone without leaving any smell behind. A great basic, affordable product that’s easy to keep on hand.

“Effective, no-frills witch hazel astringent for everyday use”
I’ve been using the Amazon Basics Witch Hazel USP Astringent (unscented) for several weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well it works as a straightforward, effective toner. It contains about 86% witch hazel, giving it a very natural astringent effect. I apply it after cleansing in the morning and evening. It helps balance excess oil without over-drying, thanks to the tannins in witch hazel that help refine pores. It’s also quite soothing — I’ve used it on minor irritations like bug bites and redness, using its anti-inflammatory properties. The unscented formula is a huge plus: no strong fragrance, which is perfect for sensitive skin or anyone who prefers a neutral toner. I understand it has some alcohol (around 14%, per safety data), which likely contributes to its astringency, but I haven’t found it irritating. One downside: the packaging is very basic, and the large bottle can be a bit cumbersome to handle. If not stored securely, there’s a risk of spills. Overall, I think it’s a fantastic value pick for anyone wanting a basic, effective, and affordable toner — especially if you have oily or acne-prone skin. Just make sure to follow up with a moisturizer (or a light serum) so your skin doesn’t feel too tight.

Lifesaver for Postpartum Recovery!
I cannot recommend this Amazon Brand Witch Hazel enough for new moms! After giving birth, I soaked pads in this witch hazel and froze them—it was an absolute game-changer for comfort and healing. The pads stayed perfectly chilled and soothing, providing instant relief during those first challenging weeks. The liquid itself is high quality, gentle, and doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. It’s become an essential part of my postpartum care routine, and I honestly don’t know how I would have managed without it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for natural, effective postpartum relief!

Good facial toner
I have reordered several times. I use it as facial toner after cleansing and before serums and moisturizer. It’s a great value and lasts a long time, a little goes a long way. The only complaint I guess I have is that it doesn’t have a great smell but it dissipates quickly after drying.

Leaky bottle, otherwise fine product
Decent price with a nice scent and nothing added, although I had to use a silicone band as a gasket to achieve a tight seal on the bottle.

Works as well as name brands but at a better price per ounce
No complaints about this witch hazel. It is formulated the same as the brand name versions, and works just as well. I like that it's plain witch hazel without any added ingredients (such as aloe). I find plain witch hazel works best for my needs. A good value for the price, especially if you can catch it on a price dip. 5 stars.

A Reliable Savior for Breakouts
I have tried countless expensive toners and spot treatments, but I always find myself coming back to this Amazon Basics Witch Hazel USP Astringent. It is a simple, no nonsense product that works wonders whenever my skin starts to act up. When I have a sudden flare up or notice a blemish forming, this is the first thing I reach for. It provides a deep clean that my regular face wash sometimes misses.
