Way small!! Almost like a toy!
This was insanely small!! The one we needed it for was 3 times bigger. We made do by taking the internals from this one and put in the old one. Fortunately that was the part that we really needed. This tank should be a umbrella stand...

Plunger arm is too short
The plunger arm is too short. This results in the tank filling with too much water and water ended up going out the overflow. I did not have a hose running the overflow to the floor drain. This resulted in brine water leaking out of my utility closet and damaging my wood flooring. If the plunger arm were longer, the water would have never reached the overflow. Just a major note of caution.

The installer initally put too big of a round brine tank in my closet with the softener. I measured out 11" X 11" first and knew it would work for what I wanted. Yes, its small, and its EXACTLY what I wanted. Two 40 lb bags of salt crystals in it do fine, possibly three, but dont want to overload it.I personally like it!!
