1943 Wheat Penny (Coin)

The penny I received was in beautiful condition. The coin wasn't worn down at all. The portrait was extremely detailed as if somebody preserved this since it left the mint. I am extremely satisfied with this penny, so I decided to buy another one. I would recommend this to any collector looking for a 1943 steel penny. :)

I'm not a professional coin inspector, but as far as I can see, my coin is in great condition! It's almost pristine. I mean, it's better-looking than most of my 2010 pennies! I am VERY happy with this product and it's definitely worth buying.

i order this just out of curiosity because i have never owned on i expected it to be in ok condition but boy was i suprised when i received it it was in almost the best condition ive seen in these steel cents the coin in picture hardly comes close to the condition of the coin i recieved my guess is thats probably the worst condition you will recieve from this awesome coin dealer

Yes, the coin that was delivered was a 1943 steel coin, but it clearly had been circulated and appeared to be a dull grey color. The steel was showing through. The zinc coating had been worn off. Instead of a nice silvery coin to enhance my collection, all I have is a coin that looks like it has been through a million hands.

I remember exactly where I was standing and what I was doing the first time I saw the "new style pennies" duringWWII. I feel very fortunate to have these now. They are in fine condition and arrived before the ETD. Now they are part of mymemorabilia.

I've been ordering several coins this year and trying to start a small collection. This wheat penny is one of the best condition items I've received so far. Very nice. Not happy with the shipping price, but the product itself is great.

The coin is very dirty. The coin is almost completely black. It is an authentic 1943 steel. It passes the magnet test. Its just really ugly.
