Seems to Have Solved My Issue
I have two of the 4K versions but I needed the 8K to try to resolve a specific issue. It’s a nice step up in quality from the 4K. Metal build, OLED Screen, and a Web-UI. The Downside is it does cost a bit more than the 4K version. Anyway, I was having an issue with two 4K 120hz displays connected to my Mac Mini. I had a guess of what the issue was so I gave this a shot and seems to have resolved it.

Just perfect
I have a Sonos Beam 2 with a sub and 2 surrounds. I can finally listen to movies on my 4K Blu-ray player that are coded with DTS Mater Audio and it sounds amazing. Sonos does a great job with Dolby Audio and PCM Audio but with this piece of equipment everything sound at its best and you now have full DTS. So if you have a Sonos beam 2 with surrounds and a sub you will be able to hear Dolby Atoms, PCM 7.1 channel and DTS 7.1 channel. Full disclosure this doesn’t work properly on the Sonos Arc.Update: It’s now compatible with the Sonos Arc. Sounds Great!

Waste of time and money
This is not easy to get working, video output is limited to lower refresh rates, and this doesn't work with Sonos that well. Customer service is difficult to reach (discord channel only) and they are also rude. Suggest saving your money and going a different route.

DolbyVision on my LG projector!
I purchased this to allow me to play Dolby Vision meta data on my LG HU810PW projector. I bought this over the 4K model to future proof myself. Everything works perfect:)

It makes my tv & bd surround sound a lot better
I got it to extract/display dolby atmos from Panasonic ub9000 instead of just dolby surround. It did not do that, and that had to come from the ub9000 itself. However, the Vrroom made surround sound experience from both 4k Apple TV and ub9000 a lot better. I don’t understand how, but it did. It took sometime to set it up, and customer support was great!

Not a seamless enough experience for the price.
It does what it says it will do, but it being reliable doing those things long term is another story. For the price, this thing should just simply work with minimal hiccups. The issues I had(and many others if you follow the discord server) was that volume control was working through eARC initially, but then stopped working, and wouldn’t work again no matter what I tried(and never worked again). Sometimes there would be no sound randomly or no video coming up which required a hard reset of the device for it to function normally again. Or unplugging the power for devices to fix handshake issues. These were daily occurrences. There’s been too many times I sat down to watch a movie, which then turned into 10-15 minutes of resetting devices and messing with settings to get it working normally again.. when all I wanted to do was watch a movie. It felt like a big mistake buying the device every moment i’d be sitting there messing with it to get it working. Maybe far down the road they will release some firmware where everything works perfectly, but as it currently stands this thing is not worth near it’s price tag. I really hoped it would work for me, but I was forced to return it.If you decide to take the dive, I hope it works better for you.

didn't work for me.
It is so overly complicated to set up. I did my best and got it to make it work somehow. I have 4 devices for HDMI IN and I need the signal to go out to a TV, projector and eARC out to a Sonos Arc. You really need to read the manual and learn the whole thing as HDMI Out is TX0 for example. Bottom line when I try to watch a movie on the projector the image goes black after a minute. Tried different cables, different settings, nothing fixed the problem. The only way to fix it is to disconnect the HDMI out that goes to the TV while watching something on the projector. And now about customer service :-) You can write them an email. They will guide you to discord. You have to learn how to post there and when you do, their 24/7 support is actually for a few hours on their time zone. I asked different questions that were answered 8 hours later and not really solved anything. Meanwhile a basic Orei matrix switch with audio extractor just works and it's 10 times cheaper.
