I don't write a lot of reviews, good or bad, but I had to write one for this product. I didn't have very high expectations because well, nothing else has ever worked but thought what the heck, can't hurt. My daughter has a little street urchin chihuahua she adopted. Pierre is a little sweetie (most of the time) but his breath is atrocious. It's got that rotting corpse/fecal matter in the hot July sun vibe. And not just when he's trying to slobber you with kisses. He leaves the smell on everything his mouth comes into contact with. Toys need to be washed on a hyper regular basis. Well got this in the mail yesterday and I immediately opened it up. Not only does Pierre have dragon breath but he's always very selective about what he eats/chews on. I know, weird, right, this from a dog that spent the first two years of his life scavenging for food, including cockroaches, on the streets of Dallas. You'd think he had been raised as a Park Avenue pooch with how finicky he is. Anyhow, I opened the package, gave it two clicks per the instructions and held it out for Pierre to check it out. He took one sniff and lapped it up, then clamored for more. Figured well that's a great sign, at least he likes it. But the true test was the smell test. I picked him up and gingerly put his mouth near my nose, dreading the gag reflex that was sure to follow. And.....nothing! Just regular doggy breath. Literally less than 5 minutes (might have been immediately but I wasn't that brave) and the horrendous breath ws gone! Call me truly impressed with this doggy dental gel. If your dog has bad breath, buy it! Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

I was skeptical about this item when I purchased it but I’m pleasantly surprised how well that it works. My dog’s breath is so much better.The deodorant stick type dispenser works great and it stores well with no mess.It took a few tries before my picky Husky started getting used to it. She now enjoys it and her breath no longer smells bad in between her weekly grooming.I bought the chicken and peanut butter flavors. She prefers the chicken over the peanut butter.I’m glad that we found this product and will continue using it.

When I opened the lid I found a good portion of it was melted and inside the lid. I clicked the container as described but had to keep clicking it to see even a very tiny amount begin to come to the surface. I will try again tomorrow. My dog didn’t seem too happy with the flavor (chicken).

My 11 year old black lab mix had breath that could kill a skunk! It was so bad and he just couldn’t understand why we wouldn’t let him lick or get close. We’ve been using this for only 1 week now and I notice a HUGE difference!! Not only does his breath smell much better he’s also not getting crusties around the sides of his mouth from drooling. This is a total lifesaver and has a permanent spot in our house now!

Our 9 year old small dog thinks this is a treat. We are happy because her breath is much fresher and her teeth look much cleaner. We have only tried the peanut butter flavor. It is hard to know when the gel is running low, so I always have a backup on hand.

I'm writing this review more for the manufacturer than potential customers, but if it's helpful to you then that's good too. Do you see all of this product that is left that you're not able to twist out? That's so much waste requiring us to purchase more before we actually need to. The manufacturer needs to figure out a way to get it all out of this tube. This is wasteful, This is wasting our money. If we twist our deodorant, which essentially what this container is, all the way to the top it leaves very little left in the container. Giving it one star because my dogs absolutely love it but then again they love almost everything. I can't say it's working I can't say that it's not working but I'm definitely taking off stars for poor manufacturing. I'm using a tiny rubber spatula to get out what I think is a sufficient amount for my two Yorkies. I waste nothing and neither should anyone else before to waste their harder into money. I might just count how many more uses we get then edit this review.
