Although some buyers have been critical of packaging, my tool arrived in perfect condition. I was somewhat sceptical at first, it seemed too light to do anything useful but I was soon proved wrong. After a bit of puzzling out with the manual, I set the tool up to grind a small section from a faulty lanes filter. It worked beautifully. Easy to hold, good control, and the range of attachments is excellent for the hobbyist and occasional user like me. I think this item is excellent value for money and it does well, the job it is designed to do. It is clearly not a heavy duty tool but it does what it is supposed to do very well.

Great little tool for modeling. Battery lasts for ever when charged too.

I saw this for £21 and thought it was worth a go. I was expecting it to feel cheap and the bits to be “not great” but I have been pleasantly surprised. There are three speed options, the lower two will not burn the plastic but the highest will if you’re not careful.If you’re after a decent modelling tool I don’t think you can go wrong with this

Bought this item as a replacement one when my last one died. I’m very happy with it and it does an excellent job of cutting everything l need to. Would it again.

I brought this to help me clean and buff up my tobacco pipes and it is perfect the battery lasts about 30 mins when polishing with a wax stick and the small brushes are great for getting right deep in to the bowl.it is extremely light and comfortable to use. It very easy to change the attachment by simply depressing the silver button and unscrewing the collar very impressed with it.

Not the best, power drains instantly when any pressure applied. Get what pay for… buy a dremel

I’m surprised how long this little multi use toll has lasted. I have bought some that just don’t last and break easily, but not this one I have used it a lot. Use it to file my powder dip nails and other home fixes.

I ordered this cordless rotary tool for the sanding capabilities. My son tried to grind rust and grit from his old car parts from the car he is rebuilding with his Dad. The tool is just not powerful enough. It does say in the description that it is “only suitable for light jobs”. However, that is not the reason for the 3 star rating. The reason is that while my son was sanding, the sanding bit keeps coming loose from the tool body. We followed the directions for the spindle locking button and attempted to reattach the sanding bit 10 times. But each time, the bit keeps getting lower and lower while in operation. I was worried that it was going to spin right off!Even though my son was wearing safety glasses, I advised him not to use this apparatus. It may not have the loosening problem with the other accessories, but we are not about to find out. It does take off some rust and grit using the sanding accessories, but not all.

We've had the original Dremel tool for years and it is used often in our computer building work. Everyone here's biggest complaint is the pain it is to change the tools from one to the other. This does not have that issue. You just press down a button, pop out the tool, and then insert the nextIt comes with a good selection of sanders/grinder/polishers/cutter attachments but I don't see in the instruction booklet where you go to buy replacements which unless they are readily available will render the tool useless.They do state in the Amazon listing this is not made for "heavy-duty" projects so take that for what it is worth. Basically not a tool you can use when making your daily living.Apparently, although only one drill bit is included it can be a light duty drill, if you can find other sizes that will fit into its chuck.All in all, it can do what it claims well. Can't address the reliability yet as I have only used it for a few jobs. Will update the review as needed.

My husband is a glass artist who recently started experimenting with etching fumed glass. We have an original Dremel tool which he using, but it's corded and to etch glass you have to do it underwater and it just seemed like an accident waiting to happen. So i got him this cordless rotary tool to try out.He loves it. It's smaller and more compact than the Dremel. Still powerful enough to etch the fumed glass and much more comfortable to hold. He likes that it is rechargeable, has 3 speeds and it's easy to change out the tools.It's not quite as powerful as a full sized dremel/rotary tool, but it comes with a good selection of attachments and works well for our needs.
