You simply must have a harness like this instead of a simple strap; takes all stress off neck and eliminates bouncing. Mine just arrived with four small strong attachment rings (like keychain rings that you slide keys onto). If these weren't included before, then perhaps they've responded to customer requests. There's no reason to use the zipties that were also included. My binocs already had rings on it anyway. I haven't understood the complaints; keychain rings can be bought anywhere for cents. The sewn-on strap clips that clip onto the rings seem identical and as strong as those on my previous more expensive harness. Overall, the harness is satisfactorily well-made and works perfectly; a fantastic value. As a woman with a medium chest, I'm able to adjust these so there's no discomfort; I doubt this would be much of a problem for even a large-chested woman.

Bottom line... For 10 bucks, this is a good deal. Just a word to the wise, don't even waste your time with the cheap plastic zip ties they include. I broke 2 immediately, and ended up just attaching the ring to my binocular strap hook. As another reviewer noted, they are very elastic, and wouldn't be my first choice for anything heavy. I have 2 pair of binocs. This will be for the lightweight cheap ones. I'll find another better quality for the others. I still got what I paid for, so I'm okay with my purchase.

These keep my heavy binocs off my neck yet within easy immediate reach. Not at all confusing to put on, which is a problem with the other chest strap I own. The zip ties fit my binoc’s skinny little strap loops, but are super kludgy looking. The rings didn’t fit. What’s up with binocular makers? Anyway, I cut off the tie ends, which made them sharp. I polished the ends using a lighter, which made me nervous but turned out ok.

This is the second such device I have purchased through Amazon.com. The other one is the OP/TECH USA Bino/Cam Harness - Webbing, Amazon item #B000GTRBQQ. Both do the job well. I bought both for use with DSLR cameras and NOT binoculars. I get a backache if I have a camera hanging around my neck for hours. These harnesses move the weight from my neck to my shoulders and divide the strain into two halves: right and left. I think I like the four point rear harness on the Allen brand better than the 3 point harness on the Op/Tech. On the other hand, the Allen straps are elastic and I prefer the NON-elastic version of the Op/Tech (you have a choice, although this may not be clear from the ad). The question with the Allen brand (and Op/Tech elastic model) is how long the elasticity will endure. BOTH harnesses work well. If you want to get weight off your neck, I can recommend either.

Easy to use once adjusted to fit. Does make carrying binoculars more comfortable because it distributes the weight better than just around the neck.

Love this Allen strap for binoculars! My second one and if you have binoculars this is a must have. Keeps the binoculars right on your chest for quick easy access and they hold snuggly so never in the way. Perfect for any outdoor activities like hiking, sporting events, hunting, etc….these are awesome!

I find that this works really good for me. Its stretchy and can be maneuvered around my gun while I'm out hunting. The clips are a little big for my binoculars, but I've found they work well on other people's binoculars. (Mine are quite cheap) but keep this in mind for compatibility while buying these. The quality is really good and they fit comfortably from a woman's perspective.

Dieser Gurt ist eine unheimliche Erleichterung für den Nacken. Man merkt ihn nicht und auch das Lederteil, das die Gurte verbindet ist trotz rucksack nicht zu spüren. Genausowenig wie mein 2 KG schweres Fernglas. Hatte ich bei dem normalem Gurt nach einigen Stunden Nackenschmerzen, so sind diese, dank dem Gurt nicht mehr vorhanden. Aber um ihn wirklich bequem anzulegen, sollte schon eine zweite Person helfen. Oder ich stelle mich zu ungeschickt an oder bin einfach nicht mehr gelenkig genug ;)

bought for my partner for his birthday - shame to say he had a heart attack on the day and has now had a quad bypass so has been unable to try out the strap - I think it looks good and well worth the money
