I am a physician, I have asthma and I am a competitive swimmer. I read some other reviews that inaccurately downplayed the significance of this device. It is very useful. The device allows both inspiratory and expiration resistance which can be dialed up or down. On the lowest settings it is equivalent to mild asthma in terms of expiratory resistance. On the highest settings it is equivalent to severe obstructive lung disease. People with COPD burn a lot of calories just breathing. This is like that. I've lost weight and built muscle. I did vital capacities before and after one month of training and increased by almost 1 liter. Because I was preparing for a major competition 3 weeks out, I over used it. Most days I did 2 or 3 days worth of training. Some days I did as much as 2 hours of it while sitting and working on other things. I would not recommend that. Respiratory muscles fatigue just like any other muscle after a good long hard workout and they just want a rest. It's OK if your legs or arms want to take a break. You don't have to walk. It is not ok if your respiratory muscle want a break. You have to breath. After overusing it I was breathing 3 times a minute rather than the normal 14-16 for an athlete. I was getting enough oxygen according to my pulse ox but was worried about my CO2 levels. That could be dangerous. After not using it for a few days I returned to normal. Since then I am just doing 20 minutes per day and have not had any problems. I am 10 weeks into it. I am swimming faster, harder, longer, lost fat, gained muscle. I am heading back toward my peak times of my college days. I am looking forward to what a couple more months of this will do.

I guess this is designed for people with very poor lung capacity. Even when I set the adjustment to the device’s highest resistance level (a “6”) my lungs and diaphragm aren’t being challenged enough for me to gain capacity as promised. I’m confident this would be a great little gizmo if you weren’t already doing sufficient (or any) cardio, but for my needs, it’s too wimpy. I’m giving three stars, because if you want to use it to focus your breathing in order to calm your nervous system, it’d be a great device for you to train in that skill. I’m already a long-time meditator, so this gadget isn’t value added for me. If you’re wanting to learn to breathe more deeply and mindfully, this little device would be helpful, but there are a lot of apps out there that will help you do the same. Maybe the company should market their device for that use? Anyway, it didn’t meet the promise (of increased training capacity) they’d made, so it’s a no-go for me.

I am currently at '24 Straight Days' of Training and counting. Toward the end of Week 2 I began to notice that I was breathing slower. I also noticed that it was real easy for me to breathe deeper to relax and slow my 'pace' if I needed to. This thing really Does work, and I noticed something else .. it is mentioned that sleep quality will be enhanced, and I can definitely attest to that ! I don't wake up to 'change sides' nearly as often, and when I do .. I have noticed how comfortable I am feeling lately. I truly do recommend the Airofit, and if you buy it .. give this thing a chance. If you do it right .. you really Are going to Enjoy Breathing again .. Seriously !

El artículo es muy basico, en sus materiales y hasta en su empaque, a pesar no tener la conectividad y lectura en tiempo real del entrenamiento y su progreso como en el pro, el mecanismo de funcionamiento es el mismo, se le abona la aplicación de guia de entrenamiento diario, hasta el momento de pocos días de entrenamiento, todo a funcionado bien, esperemos los resultados a fin de las cuatro semanas

I'm long hauler post covid. Very competitive is OCR races. Post covid really destroyed my endurance and breathing. My strength has returned. Not endurance. This device that I have had only a short time has improved my breathing substantial. I really feel a great improvement in my breathing and my endurance. So far, I recommend this for those in simular situation.

Está bien para trabajar en casa, hay que ser constante y realizar ejercicios durante dos veces al día, durante todos los días (si es que quieres ver resultados). El tiempo de trabajo diario no es mucho, en total, unos 10 minutos contando los dos entrenamientos.

Dall'acquisto alla consegna tutto perfetto, sono già diversi giorni che lo uso e da che ero un po' scettico devo dire che si è rivelato un ottimo acquisto. Semplice da usare, l'applicazione aiuta a fare gli esercizi, bisogna essere solo consapevoli di usarlo ogni giorno. Io ho acquistato la versione Active (senza bluetooth) e mi trovo benissimo. Probabilmente con la versione Pro avrei messo una lode.

It’s not worth it for something which costs a tenth the price of the iPhone. No electric parts… and no connectivity to the app…Very disappointed.
