JACO Elite Low Pressure Tire Gauge - 30 PSI

I bought this to carry in one of my Adventure bikes. It is really important to be very aware of tire pressure and a quality tire gauge is something i always carry. I really like that the head swivels whch allows me to move the gauge is the best position to see it and also attach it to the valve. I tested my particular gauge and it was within a pound or two of other gauges i have. It gives consistent readings for pressure. It also feels nice in the hand and as long as your particular motorcycle allows you to get this into place for testing, I like the non hose type like this. Much easier to test with one hand. Some motorcycles i have do need the gauge with a hose to get into place so determine if your rims will allow you to use this type of gauge. overall for me this is a very nice and easy product to use.

I bought the specifically to re-pressurize my RO tank. My tank lost pressure after seven years and would barely fill half a cup before the stream turned into a dribble. Perfect Water, the RO company recommended a 0-20 lower pressure gauge. This one is 0-30 but works perfectly. I have one tip for users, though who may not be aware: this gauge holds the reading, so make sure, you press the little button to reset it every time you check the pressure. I had tried to use my battery powered inflator, which was a big no-no. I had to buy myself a bicycle pump to get the job done. It took all off five minutes. Five or six inflations then check the pressure and it was already up to about 7PSI. A few more pumps and it was sitting at 10. I pushed it in a little until the air escaped and got it down to nine, which is exactly where my RO company said depression needed to be. The force from the faucet is now strong and works exactly as intended. I highly recommend this product, which is very robust built. The gauge is clear and easy to read. The brass construction means it will not rest and will last a long time. The rubber housing makes it easy to hold without slipping. most pressure gauges will start their reading from 5 to 10 PSI. If you need something for RO systems, you can’t go wrong with this product.

Best tire gauge I've ever owned. Easy to get in small places like motorcycle wheels. Love the "hold" reading. Solidly built and the rubber cover helps protect.

Easy to use pressure gauge, low pressure range which is perfect for my tractor, atvs , and lawn mowers which are only 15 psi.

After riding a high-pressure road bike for a few years I purchased a trail bike with low-pressure 4.8" fat tires, and went from a Presta valve to a Schrader valve. Thus, I needed a new pressure gauge. I had been using the "pen" style of gauge and wanted to upgrade to something more accurate too.My fat tire pressure rating is 8-35 psi and i run them from 15-20 psi. I choose the 30psi JACO due to their reputation and offering a gauge that fits my needs. You will want a gauge that offers the narrowest range possible fitting your requirements so the incremental marking are as wide as possible.The gauge works as advertised. The shape makes it nice when reaching into my backpack looking for it. The twisting stem allows me to measure pressure at any angle. If you are unable to read the gauge you can remove it and it will hold the reading. It also offers a controlled way to release air.I have not experienced complaints found in other reviews. My only complaint is they do not provide a convenient way to swap between Schrader and Presta valves. You will need both JACO versions -- or use an adaptor on your Presta valve. I am unable to scientifically verify accuracy.

Exactly as advertised. Easy to use, and the pressure release valve is very handy. Keep this in my motorcycle tool kit, small size is very convenient.

I often base my decision about purchasing a product on Amazon based on the amount of feedback that has been left and the amount of good versus negative feedback. It doesn't take very much negative feedback for me to dismiss a product. However, if I am having difficulty finding a highly rated item, I may focus more on the positive. In this particular instance it was obvious this tire gauge had issues and I took the chance and found out the hard way that the negative feedback was extremely accurate. The tire gauge is of poor quality. I purchased two both high and pressure and low pressure and right out of the box they did not function at all. Both defective as indicated by several others. In my opinion they are very low quality and I sent them back immediately. I did purchase another tire gauge off at Amazon which was near the $100 Mark, way more than I wanted to spend and hopefully when it arrives it will be of the quality that I need. Think, buy once and cry once. Don't buy this brand!
