Couldn’t open the legs on the base
And had gotten really frustrated But after reading questions from other similar products I just really pulled hard and legs came apart. Yes it’s heavy duty and looks like exactly what I need to hold up my heavy light box. Will change this review if it does not work.

It comes with a bag.
A good stand that won't let you down when used correctly. You may have to loosen the bottom nut to spread the legs but don't think it's sketchy as there will be no play. This is worth what it costs. The extension rods have springs at the bottom. When it's time to pack up you can shorten it to it's least overall length by pushing them down before tightening the holder.Very sturdy. If you're female and plan on moving it a lot on shoots with the light mounted you may want the wheels version.

Nice, but not like they used to make them!
There's lots of C Stands out there with varying degrees of quality. The best would be the ones still made of heavy gauge steel, but I guess those days are gone. The most troubling aspect of any, including this brand, is that the "gobo arms" are not solid metal. They need to be, in order to support any light head, given that light heads can be somewhat heavy, especially when adding a soft box to said light. I recommend this C Stand, but as I said, it's not as heavy duty as they used to be.

More heavy duty than expected. It's being used on a daily basis now.

DO NOT BUY. WILL BREAK. CHEAP PRODUCT.
The media could not be loaded. Horrible. Save your money and buy a real c stand. Screws stripped and useless now. No customer support.

Decent but some parts are garbage
I have only used this stand a handful of times for simple interview shots indoors, with no heavy equipment. The very first issue I noticed is even with a very lightweigh light on the boom arm, it sags and bends. Doesnt feel safe but its fine i suppose. However after mayhe 3 or 4 uses, the threading on the top knuckle of the riser pole completelt gave out. I can no linger use the top teir of the pole because the knob doesnt tighten all the way. It gets about 80% tight, then skips threads and resets and can never fully tighten. Not only does it make the entire top section useless and can only be used at about half its max height, it doesnt tighten enough to even keep the pole from rotating inside the sleeve, so if you have the gobo arm out, it will just move and rotate freely. I have to load up with clamps or tape to just keep it in place. Was pretty pleasantly surprised at first but quickly realized why this is so low priced. The stand itself and such isnt so bad but the connecting parts are super cheap and soft die-cast metal alloys that wear out immediately. Wish I used it more sooner so I could still return it or have it replaced.
