Per ingredients, I don't see fabric softener. Maybe I can use this to do my dry clean laundry at home?

This product does not have a fabric softener component. It is not suitable for dry cleaning. It is a detergent for a washing machine only.

Why does it say free shipping and then when you try to check out it has 5.99 shipping? Scam?

Free shipping if you purchase a certain amount. If you are a prime member it’s always free shipping. That’s always been in my situation. Call Amazon and their customer service can help with that situation.

Great for my child that has 30+ environmental allergies.

These almost always leave my clothes smelling great. My son has many, MANY environmental allergies, and these seem to not cause him any issues. They are very easy to use and I'll probably never go back to buying the giant jugs of liquid. They may cost judge a smidge more, but I do think they are worth it. I took these with us when we traveled to Oregon so I wouldn't have to spend more while out there and they never had any issues with spilling or popping. I've never seen any left over residue on any of the clothing, so they dissolve great. I did notice that when you leave a bag open for a month they start to get a little stiff. The scent lasts for quite a while and covers up any unpleasant smells that may have been on the fabric before.

Highly recommend

Arm & Hammer is the only detergent that doesn't affect my allergies. It doesnt matter if the other detergents are free and clear. The product is easy to use. Love the fact that it's resealable. I use a lot of their products. This laundry detergent cleans extremely well, smells good, and handles stains well. I like the clean burst scent and it doesn't bother my allergies. The price is good. Sold me on pods, I used liquid before and it didn't last me as long as the pods do. I highly recommend this as well as their other products.

As effective as Tide pods.

This Arm & Hammer laundry pod is comparable to Tide. I have had allergies to most detergents all of my life and only bought Tide until a few months ago. I was out of detergent and sent cleaning lady to store, but she accidentally (?) purchased these. We used them because I needed to wash clothes quickly. No skin or allergic reactions to this product. MUCH cheaper than Tide, cleans as well as Tide, and smells as good. No sticky or gooey messes.
