Theraputty may be intended for occupational therapy and strengthening of various muscles. While I appreciate that, I use it mainly for stress. If I'm sitting somewhere that makes me nervous, I pull out my theraputty and start twisting and pulling and popping. It really helps me through an uncomfortable conversation.

No longer need this but Ive kept it in case I need it again. I was expecting deteriotion but after about a year keeping it in the original container it's still like brand new. It worked great for my forearm issue.

Very helpful for my daughter she has weakness and a deficit in fine motor skills in her occupational therapy!

I purchased the medium to help my son with his fine motor skills. This medium one was hard and a bit difficult for him to work with. Similar but a little harder than silly putty. But the product was packaged nicely and worked as expected. I ended up returning it only because I should’ve ordered a softer one. Returning was a very easy process and I plan on ordering x soft or xxsoft. Definitely plan on buying one or the other because of how easy and fast the order and return process was.

Will absolutely help strengthen your grip after surgery or injuries.

I broke two of my fingers (both displaced fractures of proximal phalanx of the little finger and ring finger). I was given the choice to get pins in my hands or just go with a cast, I went with the cast. When your fingers are broken and trapped in a cast for a month, after a splint 2 weeks prior, you experience a bit of atrophy. Trying to retrain my fingers is currently a journey. This putty is a very comfortable way to do so. I originally bought the "blue" not realizing there were different colors (strengths). The blue is way too stiff and hard to use for hand therapy in the beginning. So, I ended up ordering again and buying the "green." The green is also difficult, however, not rock hard like the blue. I would suggest the "extra soft"- to "soft" if you're starting out. The BEST advice I would give with this product is to buy all the colors in a set and work your way up in strength if you can afford that. Otherwise, I would get the 'soft' (or 'extra soft' depending on your injury and prior strength capabilities). This product is very cool, I love how it resets itself in the container to start all over again (meaning; it goes from a workable putty to a flat putty which works into a ball all over again via your hands, if that makes any sense, lol). Anyway, truly fascinating!

I got this because I used it in pt however there medium was not like this medium. This do hard I can't squeeze at all like a rock. Get soft unless to extra strong
