Color Wheel for Optoma Projectors HD141X, HD142X, GT1080, HD25E, HD26, HD180 etc

My Optoma GT1080 was very loud and this part completely removed the buzzing. As well the existing color wheel was discolored, especially the clear section, so with the new part, the picture is clearer/brighter too. Highly recommend this replacement color wheel.

Not too difficult to replace and fixed the noise my projector was making. There is only a fan and this motor that move in the projector. I replaced the fan first and then this to fix the humming noise.

This is not the correct color wheel for an Optoma HD20 or HD180. The HD 20 and HD 180 need a color wheel with 6 equal segments of Red, Green, and Blue. This wheel has some smaller segments of various sizes. For the Optoma HD180 and HD20, each of the 6 color segments should be the same size.After installation you may need to adjust the color wheel timing. Point the projector remote at the unit and press Off - Left - Left - Up this will take you into a special menu for adjustments. If you don’t have the remote, then on the projector press Power, Left, Left, Up.
