I love the drums and so did my 3 year old. It’s a great size for a small toddler. The sound is good and didn’t need much tuning. It’s easy assembly and the black is pretty and shiny. It’s definitely age appropriate for a 1-4 maybe 5 year old. And easy to adjust.However, the screw become loose very quickly and the top of the foot pedal kept flying off. The foot pedal itself bent pretty quickly and high hat or cymbal stand kept falling down even after tightening. My husband is a drummer and did as much tightening to it as he could but they screws never stayed in place. My son’s set broke after 1 month.. if that!

Really impressed by how it looks, feels and sounds. Did not expect this level of quality for the price. It will have a long time of use, as my 3 yr old grandson just loves to express himself musically. He loves it too!

The media could not be loaded. Got this for the kids to start practicing some drumming on. They seem to be doing really well with it. Setup was really easy just had a screwed a few things into place and then assemble all the pieces together. The assembly isn't as strong as I would like it I think. Because they tend to lean but I suppose that'll happen with the drums being a little heavy. I did have to put at least one of the drums together they all came inside the big bass drum. And it's like the perfect height for the children. It was a little more expensive but it is a nice first set for them I think since they all seem to be very interested in starting drums.

The media could not be loaded. I set up the drum set, however it never was able to hold the poles for the hanging drums and tambourine correctly. The tambourine pole completely fell off, I believe it came stripped. And, I tried everything in my power to make it work, but it’s just a broken tambourine at this point.

I can’t express how happy my 2 year old is with this drum set. He plays them every day! The quality of the drums are great for the price! I do have a few recommendations though.1. Watch your young kids around these. My 2 year old was able to unscrew a bolt on the pedal and started sucking on it. The pedal is a total choking hazard for young kids so we put the base pedal in hiding and only take it out when we plan to play. Granted he’s the son of an engineer so I’m not surprised he is disassembling nuts and bolts at 2.2. Before assembling, use a wrench and tighten the nuts inside the drum where they connect together. If you don’t they will come loose. No manufacturer is going to use lock tite, so over time you may need to readjust the nuts/bolts inside the drum. I think many of the negative reviews on amazon are from People who expect absolutely no maintenance with a musical instrument.3. Like any drums, you can hit them hard, but they will dent with abuse. Make sure your kids aren’t just whacking them as hard as they can. Even professional drums are not going to hold up to that kind of abuseFor the money though I am extremely pleased with this drum set. They might require the occasional bolt tightening like anything else, but they’re made with pretty solid quality and I’m impressed!
