Don't be scared of all the mixed reviews!
Don't be scared because of all the mixed reviews! It may have been a faulty batch because mine is PERFECT.Peeling?I'll update this review if it ever starts to peel like in other reviews but for now, the case is great and fits perfect. The surface is glossy and the case feels a lot harder and smoother than I anticipated.Loose Sides/Hard to Push Buttons? Many reviews say how loose the case is on the sides and how the buttons are still hard to press. Neither was the case for me! The top and bottom of the case are very snug, the sides are a little less snug but there is no movement when I press the buttons nor can I pull it back from the phone.Protection? It feels very secure and after watching many drop tests, I'm confident it could protect my phone. Go to youtube and you'll find people dropping it from 11 ft with no screen protectors and no damage after.*Note: if the phone case does wear down I think the lip on the top and bottom of the case wouldn't lift the phone off the ground enough to protect it. As of now, the case raises the phone up a little bit so that the screen and back cannot touch a flat surface.Look and FeelLike all the other reviews, this would be the least case for the most protection. I LOVE feeling the premium materials of the phone, especially when that's one of the reasons I bought the S8 in the first place.

Best Bumper Case, just buy it!
I HATE phone cases and so I typically go nude, as to flaunt the natural sexy appeal of the high quality materials today's flagship devices are made of. Coming back to Android after 7 generations of iPhone, what I can say is that the Galaxy S8, in comparison, feels like it will shatter the first time it ever slips. That is where this case comes in.Why would I ever want to cover up the beautifully crafted curves and of the display or the glossy mirror-like glass back-plate? I wouldn't!This bumper case allows you to retain all of the beauty of an S8 fresh out of the box and in it's natural habitat. It allows the infinity display to show off its Curvey HD OLED Glory and Gorgeous Glossy Backside while providing some of the best protection I have ever seen. The moment I realized this was the best case ever was the other day when my brand new phone slipped off the edge of my desk at work. It was met with a forceful impact of the tiled floor smashing against its beautiful visage. I thought for sure I would be making a call to Assurance and already started to think about my overpriced deductible burning a hole in my wallet. When suddenly I remembered I was using a RhinoShield Case, and to my surprise my phone was completely and utterly perfect. Thank you RhinoShield, you are a true hero. What a Great Bumper Case.

Not for everyone, but check it out.
It's different. It should be on your shortlist. Certainly overpriced, but given the value of the phone, I don't care. The nice thing is being able to feel the back of the phone. The phone feels slimmer than with any other case (because it is). It feels flatter in the pocket. Holding it, I use a slightly different hand position because my fingers touch the back of phone, which (unless wet) has more grip than most cases. With other cases, my long fingers will be wrapped around to slightly touch the left side of the device; with this case, my fingertips are on the back of the phone to hold it. So it's a bit easier to use the screen. The sides are quite slick for me; about the same as Spigen Liquid Air Armor. But the Spigen is also slick on the back, so the grip on that is unacceptable for me. It is cold here now, and I suspect the Spigen (and this case) will have increased grip when the weather is hot.I find the width to be too much. It's not huge, it's not as wide as many other cases out there, but there are cases that are narrower in the hand that provide equal protection. This is for the obvious reason that the side edges don't need protection if you raise the corners (many other cases do this). Since even a fall directly onto the side edge of the phone is protected by corner protection, there's no reason to protect the side edges; it just increases width in the hand. This width factor was enough for me to choose another case over this one. I'm using a gel case with narrow sides and raised corners. I got several gel cases, and am keeping the "Comsoon" brand. The others are either worse-constructed (bad alignment with buttons, or bad cutouts), or larger. The Comsoon could be *slightly* tighter, but I'm still pretty confident it will protect in a drop. The main thing is that it's the narrowest case I've found that also protects the corners. If you like "flat in the pocket" and like to feel the back of the phone, buy this case. If you want a narrow feel in hand, maybe get this and a couple others, returning what you don't like. It should be on anyone's short list for a standard (non-brutal-use) case.

Best case I've bought for my S8, but that's not saying much
Have purchased many cases for my S8, and they're all crap. This has protected my phone from drops pretty well, but is a bit pricey.Pros: has protected my phone from drops pretty wellBiggest con: after normal wear and tear, the case is completely frayed and looks like a dog has chewed it up.Still the best case I've experienced.
