Little Blue Truck Makes a Friend: A Friendship Book for Kids

My daughter has me read this to her every night, very cute story and helps teach acceptance of new/ different people.

My kids love this series of books and this one is no exception! There’s always a great story and lesson along with colorful pictures to hold mg children’s interests.

Loved to see a new adventure. I am sick of reading it after the 50th time :) My son insists on it every bedtime. A true gem.

My son loves the original Little Blue so we got this one. Another hit!! I love this series.

We love and own all the little blue truck books in this house, and this one is another great one that we love! Only docked a star because I really wish it came as a board book like most of the other books in the series do.

Love this book series. The illustrations are great. The story line is adorable about meeting a new friend. This is being read on repeat currently at our house.

My son is 4 and loves the Little Blue Truck book series.

I bought this as a follow on addition to our original LB Truck book and it's really cute and lovely. LBT and all the same animal friends (though the illustration style is slightly different) feature in this tale of making a new friend, a woodchuck. Yes it's American, so the woodchuck is not a recognisable animal to my 18 month old nanny child - he says it's a bear - so we have compromised and now it's a bear with a tail named Chuck. (who whistles and stamps, a bit strange but B18m has accepted this at face value lol). He is really into dens and making animal homes, so Woodchuck's cosy hillside den appeals to him. There's also a lovely double page spread of LBT and co going through a meadow filled with flowers, bees and butterflies, so he can relate as he loves insects! All the animals are scared and wary of Woodchuck at first but then they realise he's really nice and he gets a ride with them all in LBT.A sweet, simple story for the very young.

Just so happy overall my son loves the little blue truck so much.

This story is a great addition to the little blue truck collection. A favourite in our family!
