Why has it been advised not to use this'll on your face?

Maggie, I don't know from a Manufacturer point of view. Probably legal reasons, I'm Epileptic and I'm frequently told I shouldn't. However. I do use it on my face very lightly as I have a Permanent Rare condition and my Carers use it to loosen blockages in my sinuses and Eustation tubes to my ears. It's also just nice and relaxing but they are gentle. X

Can this be used on the face?

We do not advise for the Deluxe Infrared Massager to be used on the face.

What size/power is the infrared light part of unit?

I do not know the answer to this question. But, it takes time for the infrared to heat. Therefore, I stopped turning it on. The pulsing massage of the unit is effective for muscles without infrared heating. I started using it after a lumbar disk hernia from which I recovered completely. But continue to use it still.

Dose the ir light work or is it a con trick?

The massage is thumping rather than vibration. The ir part heats the head and I've never found any difference using ir but the thumping massage seems to make a huge difference so I never bother with the ir. I think the point of ir is to have the warm (rather than hot) penetrate and ease. To be honest if that's all you're buying it for you might as well sit with a warm hot water bottle
