Isdinceutics Flavo-C Brightening and Antioxidant Vitamin C Serum for Face, 1.0 FL OZ

Just recently, I started using this brand, which was recommended by my dermatologist. I am 44 years old and have really good skin, but I had cancer 4 years ago and had to remove my ovaries, being now on menopause. This means my skin is not as smooth and firm as it used to be. This Serum is perfect. I use it every morning as part of my skincare and together with other ISDIN products, and it's perfect! I don't like the smell, but all Vitamin C has this smell so It's not the brand's fault. I just wish those companies could develop Vitamin C with a good smell.

I have been using this product for 10 years and my skin is amazing . So many friends and family always comment on my skin ,that it looks beautiful.

I am very sensitive to odors and this formula a strong coffee-like smell. I am not sure which of the ingredients causes the smell. To most people, it won't be too much of a problem, but it bothers me. Looking at the ingredients, I don't think ISDIN added chemicals to purposely create the smell. I think the smell is a byproduct of one of the active ingredients.Using this product is simpler than I would have thought. I can easily rub the serum into my skin without it dripping. I apply a very small amount at a time. The directions say to use a total of 5 drops for the face and neck and I apply 1-2 drops at a time.My skin feels a little tingly for a few minutes after I apply this product. It isn't unpleasant or painful though. The color of my product is darker than in the pictures from the manufacturer. I'm not sure if that's is an issue with their pictures or if something is wrong with my product.I haven't noticed a visible difference to my skin after using this product, but I think it makes my skin feel a little firmer. My problem area is under my eyes. I have been avoiding using this product on my under eye area though because the directions say to avoid contact with eyes. I know the under eye skin is very delicate, so I don't feel comfortable using this product there. Maybe I would notice more of a difference if I used it under my eyes, but I like to use products specifically made for the area under the eyes.I did a little research on ISDIN and from what I can tell, they do not test on animals. While they do sell in countries that require animal testing, they bypass the animals testing rules by selling online, instead of in stores.One final note, the description on the Amazon page mentions that this product "protects against UVA & UVB." I think this is misleading. The product itself won't prevent sun damage. It will help protect free against radicals caused by sun exposure. I will sometimes use this product after I get in from being out in the sun, but to be clear, you need to wear sun block when in the sun.

This Vitamin C product feels wonderful and you feel the difference as soon as applying it to your face..

Quite expensive.
