Good account of a musical genius
Overall, a very good read. I would've enjoyed it more if the author focused more on the creation of the music, but it certainly was well done and an interesting read. My only real complaint is the author barely touched on Plastic Beach, which is a very interesting album.

Enjoyable enough of a read, but so many errors!
A good enough read, but the book is plagued with editing issues, especially in the second half. If you're going to talk about a band, at least get the players names correct - Noodle is a member of Gorillaz, not Noodles. The section on Gorillaz self-titled album was horribly written - songs wrongly named. Even with the errors, it was a decent look into Albarn's career.

Super Buch, tolle Informationen und total toll zusammengestellt. Die Sprache und die Formulierungen sind leider nicht besonders unterhaltend dafür aber super verständlich.

The author has well researched Damon’s musical career and showed his true character with respect for his private life. Great read.

It Was fine as an overview of Damon’s career. Not much about his personal life. Basically describes whatever album Blur/Gorillaz (and etc) Damon did. In summary it explains each albums roll out, the tours that followed and some music knowledge of the history of each period. It then sums it all up and on to next chapter. Rinse and Repeat This Nothing new that any Britpop book hasn’t covered a 100 times over. It does go a little past the Blur years (which is nice) but it’s the main focus. It also has some parts that are incorrect such as wrong song titles, a Gorillaz member being named wrong (constantly!, and oddly enough saying Oasis had 3 number 1 singles by 1995 , when “Some Might Say” was the only chart topper they had up to that point. It’s still a good read but again more a synopsis on certain albums and its tracks ,with some common knowledge of every era of Damon’s Career (least to his fans) 3/5
