Does this contain BPA?

I've been buying these for some time and my understanding is no bpa, I like these for the practicality and great price.

Are these straw individually wrapped? (I prefer not wrapped, because the wrapping is an annoyance and a waste)

They are not individually wrapped. All 250 straws are placed together in a package.

What is the diameter of the straw opening?

Had to measure it, they look standard like straws you'd see anywhere. 3/8 of an inch.

Are these steong enough to use for cakes in place of dowels?

I purchased them some time ago but they're the same texture as any normal straws. I know how sturdy cake dowels are and these are not what you'd need.
