Great markers! Great coverage, good markers with nice colors.

I have had/used the wider pens for years. They are simply fantastic for any artist! I was happy to purchase the fine point set for a special project. They are wonderful, vibrant, without air bubbles or flaws in writing, and so concentrated/opaque! I tested clear coats and most aerosols cause runs. I ended up brushing on matte mod podge (which comes out a mild satin finish). I think these paint pens are a staple for any artist (recreational or professional) to have in their tool kit!

I love these markers sooooo much! This set replaced my original purchase of (12) .7 tip which lasted close to a year. Perfect for adding detail on mini canvases. The 7pk of pastels are new for me- and will pair nicely with my .5 pastels. The description suggests they do not bleed, but I have found that working with this tip they do spit when making lines depending on the surface or amount of pressure applied. Fortunately these pens are forgiving in that you can go back over to redo color where it has bled some. This is largely due to their opaque-ness. I have purchased other markers in the time since I made my first purchase last year and they do not hold up as well as these. Nor can you get the precision found in the .7. Get yourself some extra white and try the ivory and beige while your at it. I wish all the colors they made were available on Amazon, but I've found you can get some singles at art chain supply stores easily enough.

I have been looking at Posca Paint Markers for a long time and finally purchased the 21 Extra Fine (1mm) and the 29 Medium (5mm) Tip sets. I use them on Polymer Clay pieces. The variety of colors is a real plus. The paint does adhere to the clay very well. The outer part of the marker is made of a sturdy plastic material, which feels very solid and is comfortable to hold. The one thing I wasn’t expecting was the need to go over the colored areas several times to get a solid, opaque covering. Once I baked the clay with the colors on the surface, the colors remained vivid and bright coming out of the oven. I did use UV resin to seal the colors and protect them. There are so many things I can use these paint markers for to embellish the pieces I make. The Markers are easy to get started and use. I am very pleased with them and will continue to have fun using them on my polymer clay pieces- they’re great!! The one thing that prevented me from buying these markers in the past is the price. I really do think they are too expensive and the price needs to be reduced. Hence the 4 Stars. Yes, I finally did get an opaque finish but it took multiple applications (4-5 coats) to get there. If it took just one or two coats, I wouldn’t be so concerned about the cost.

This was my first time using Posca Pens, and I'm impressed! They work better than expected. Highly recommend
